My partner and I recently moved from Los Angeles to Nola and needed to establish care for our senior cat, Oliver. I am so grateful we found the Cat Practice in Nola. Dr. Dodson and her team were so kind and patient! As an anxious cat parent with high expectations for his care, the Cat Practice really put my mind at ease. I can’t say enough thanks to Dr. Dodson and my vet tech, Ms. Tabitha, for being so kind and working so well with Oliver. Having a clinic dedicated to just cats truly makes a huge difference. The whole team (including the amazing front staff) were very thorough and communicative. The attention to detail and kindness ensures me that I’ve found the perfect clinic for him!

I had just adopted a cat and brought her in for some health issues and The Cat Practice was incredibly professional and clearly very knowledgeable on what needed to be done to figure out what is wrong with my cat. I would highly recommend them to anybody that wants a new veterinarian.

The ladies working at the cat practice are INCREDIBLE!!! They treat my baby with so much kindness and are always available to pick up my calls. They have been so amazing with scheduling and calling me to make sure everything is going well, with test results, and my cat loves them. Honestly, I have never met people who love their practice more! Best vet ever!!

Love this place! The staff were so nice and friendly - and great at communication. The treatment plan (including prices) was very clearly communicated before anything was done so there was no surprise bill at the end. Super quick appointment and my cat had a great time since he got treats and lots of pets :)

My family and I started using The Cat Practice about a year ago when we moved to New Orleans. Our cat was diagnosed with cancer about six months ago, and our experience with Dr. Dodson and the entire team has been exceptional.
Dr. Dodson carefully went over all the treatment options with us, and we never felt pressured to do anything we weren't comfortable with. Her realistic approach to cancer treatment and palliative care was exactly what we needed during such a difficult time. We appreciated that we never felt like we were being upsold on anything.
Every visit, we were warmly welcomed by the office staff, who were always very kind to our cat. The compassion and professionalism shown by everyone at The Cat Practice made a challenging situation much more manageable.
We are grateful for the care and support provided by Dr. Dodson and her team, and highly recommend The Cat Practice to any cat owners in New Orleans.

Dr. Dodson is amazing and has a true passion for her work. I was able to bring my chunky orange girl, Glenda, for a same day appointment to address a flea concern. Dr. Dodson made sure she was comfortable and even gave her a treat while we squared away her annual vaccines. We can’t wait to come back (next year)!

Always accessible and available -- My cats have consistently received outstanding care at the Cat Practice. Dr. Dodson and the entire staff have great compassion and affinity with cats in their care and I know of no better "cat-only" practice in a multiple state area. A superb veterinary staff who really understand the business of treating their feline patients and they do it exceptionally well!

My cat was treated so well, and so was I. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was amazing. My cat can be shy and we were both a bit nervous, that quickly went away with the outstanding service. Even leaving I felt the love for my pet. 10/10 experience, I won’t be taking my cat anywhere else.
