Highly recommend Amanda for blonde/bronde champagne highlights. I have been getting hair color for over 10 years and needed a 3 month touchup while visiting New Orleans. She is very experienced and the color and tone was stunning. She’s new to the salon but has over 13 years experience. Definitely ask for her!

Business and employees are all amazing. Jessica is a very talented stylist who knows how to listen to my preferences and work with the natural state of my hair. In the past I've had issues with a number of barbers or stylists whom act on their own opinions often leaving me with a cut that was not what I asked for. Jessica always listens to my instructions following my style while making sure to keep my hair in good health.

I started going here because the cuts were decent (not fantastic) and the prices are reasonable especially for color. (Since I'm terrible at styling my own hair I really hate to pay top dollar for a haircut since it's going to look okay at best as soon as I wash it.) But the customer service I have experienced has not been good. Jessica canceled on me at the last minute so she could work on a movie set and transferred me to Erica which I didn't mind. But then she didn't leave my color formula for Erica. My second-to-last appointment I was waiting about 20 minutes and then Jessica rushed through my cut and blowout so she could get back on schedule. I came in last week and was told she was "a couple minutes behind." Jessica was blow drying a woman's hair so didn't seem like it would be a long wait. THIRTY MINUTES LATER I look over and now she's flat ironing this woman's hair. This is time I'm paying for, since she's definitely never flat ironed my hair or taken longer than 15 minutes blowing mine out. The whole time I'm waiting no one offered me a drink, not even a glass of water. I left.

I liked my haircut, but my stylist burnt the shit out of my scalp. You all need diffusers on your blowdryers because my scalp felt like it was being scorched like a flambé. I felt my stylist went too close to my scalp because she was trying to blow dry it as quickly as possible to get to the next client. She was working on my hair while also working on another clients hair. Would have liked individual attention and more care to my hair and scalp.

As a regular, I'm obsessed with Style House in New Orleans! The location is convenient, and parking is never an issue. I visit twice a week for blowouts with Cory, who also does my cut, color, and keratin treatments. When he's unavailable, Alicia is my go-to girl for color, cuts, and styling. She's amazing and the first stylist who was able to neutralize my unwanted warm tones the first time. This dream team is always welcoming and friendly and runs on time. Collectively they've managed to tame my mane in the hot Louisiana heat (not an easy task for this curly hair girl!) while making it a fun and enjoyable experience. I’ve also had my makeup done by Jessica, who is pure ✨magic✨. I felt like a goddess the night of my event and received compliments all evening. Admittedly my makeup lasted into the wee hours of the morning. Highly recommend!Services: Haircut
