Steven has been doing my hair for over 20 years. he is a great stylist and every time I get out of his chair my color and my cut looks amazing!!!
Due to a disastrous fire at his salon he has relocated and working at Charlotte Williamson

Anna did a great job! When I went in my hair was a mess. I am 58 years old and my hair was mouse brown with gray streaks and very neglected. My hair looks so much better now! And Anna actually listened to me instead of just rushing me through like so many other stylists have done. And she didn't try to sell me something I didn't need nor tell me something I wanted would fit me. She was just honest. She is awesome!

lovely salon uptown! Kelly is a hero and transformed my hair (previously tortured by a year and a half of lockdown and myself making terrible at home decisions) into a beautiful, healthy head of hair i can feel good about!

I came to the salon for men's hair coloring and I can't stress enough how great this place is. Steven was amazing with me on the phone before I came in giving me expert advice and matching with Kristen Desrochers. The salon itself is lovely with a fantastic friendly vibe. The coloring job that Kristen did could not have been better - she achieved even better than the shade I imagined. I couldn't be happier and would recommend this salon and Kristen for any and all services!

Steven & his team are AMAZING! From brunette to blonde to red, he does an incredible job of listening to what you want & making it look incredible for your hair type. I used to get my haircut up on Maple St. and when the salon closed I went across the street to try Sobel Salon. Steve, the owner, gave me an ok cut at first. I'm not fussy so I went back twice but noticed that each cut got successively worse. The owner seemed more interested in where I lived, and perhaps how much money I had, rather than paying attention to simply giving me a decent haircut. It was all a bit coarse, as well as creepy, so I have never gone back and recommend avoiding Sobel or his salon.

I absolutely love this Salon! I made the decision to cut my hair shorter recently and Josh did a fantastic job. Staff is very accomodating, sociable, and most importantly kind. In the four years I have lived here I have never found a salon I was in love with, but I’m happy that I was recommended to go here. If you are looking for a great experience and gorgeous hair, I say look no further.

I had serious covid hair! Steven asked me to come in prior to the apt to get an idea of what he'd be working with. He suggested a lob and it looks fantastic. I have had long layers for years and this is the best/freshest haircut I've had in years. The color also came out incredible and really brightened up my features. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the attention to detail and I really felt he listened... and most importantly designed my hair in a fashion that looks great and fits my lifestyle.

Literally always an amazing experience here! ONLY PLACE I LET TOUCH MY HAIR. I decided this quarantine to bleach my own hair...it turned out horribly, but Emily (my QUEEN) completely fixed me:) amazing color corrections, as well as color and cuts in general! BEST HAIR SALON IVE EVER BEEN TOO. Also the dogs are the sweetest:) 11/10

Steven and Emily are amazing! My haircut and color turned out perfect. The studio is lovely and clean. Steven’s golden doodle Bear is an added bonus! I recommend them to all my friends!

Great salon and great experience! Steven always takes the time to ask how you'd like your hair styled and gets it right every time. Always a good conversation, and you can't beat having a sweet shop dog too
