I go to this Shell gas station almost once every day because it's close to my home. I enjoy the atmosphere and the cleanliness of this store any employees who work the cash register. They are always very pleasant to their customers and give up the most respect to everyone

Today I was appalled that the clerk inside of this station refused to issue me a receipt for my gasoline purchase. I paid for my gas at the pump with my credit card and because the machine was broken, I was unable to get a paper receipt. I went inside if the store and asked for a receipt for my gas purchase and the guy told me that I needed to get it outside at the pump. I explained to him that the pump was broken but he kept insisting that I needed to get my receipt from the pump. I explained that there were no signs which stated that receipts could only be issued if you pay inside. He completely ignored my request for a receipt and offered no explanation as to why there were no signs up to inform customers the receipts will only be issued for purchases made inside. I will be consulting legal advice from my attorney regarding this matter. These people need to know that it is against the law to refuse to issue a receipt when someone had purchased something from their business. It's time to hold these ignorant people accountable for treating customers as if they don't need their business. They will be hearing from my lawyer real soon. So sad for a $7.00 receipt. It would have been easier to just issue the paper than to get sued for more. Oh well if they don't care, then neither do I. See you in court.
