I compliment Ms. Mery and her co workers in the bakery department at the N. Carrollton Store. Mery and her co workers are very helpful and friendly. I have purchased two cakes from this bakery recently and the people in my circle rate those cakes as tasty as cakes from the more expensive independent bakeries. Thanks for the good service Ms. Mery.

Sushi clearly states the ingredients, photo clearly shows there’s additional ingredients (avocado). This is incredibly dangerous and could kill someone. I will be following up with corporate.

Most of the employees seemed very nice, however I’m writing a review to recognize the most awful costumer service interaction I’ve ever received (specifically the older caucasian man that was working at the seafood counter on 7/9). After taking 10 minutes to bag up 2lbs of shrimp (which he’d initially bagged without gloves then spilt on the counter and put back in the seafood case), I came back to ask for ice for the shrimp that we were buying but he responded in the rudest ways I’ve ever been talked to; he said he didn’t know who I was — I said I just bought fish — he said he didn’t sell me anything — I said I was just hear —, he said he didn’t have any fish (like what?) and wouldn’t give me ice. none of this made any sense so I explained that we wanted it because we had a long (40 minute) car ride in 90 degree heat and that stores typically give ice with raw seafood, but he said that he couldnt give “anything to anyone” and stared back at me until I left. This review won’t translate the condescending look on his face or in his words; I strongly believe this man hated his job and was acting out of racism and hatefulness. I don’t often leave reviews but I’ve never had an interaction this frustrating before (put lightly) ; I think the food here might be okay but because there are so many locations I recommend going anywhere else if you need to use the seafood counter.
The only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1 is because the other employees seemed very nice.

I came there today to get crawfish and was very disappointed. As I’m eating the crawfish I didn’t notice an ammonia smell until I smelled the actual bag the crawfish was in. The smell was strong and when I looked it up, it says an ammonia smell means it’s either going bad, or already bad to eat. I contacted manager who insisted I come in with a receipt but I didn’t have it, not thinking I would have to keep it, to bring it back. It’s very disappointing because I’m hoping I don’t get sick. I will never buy any seafood from there again. Please be mindful of what you buy.

Cashier Lori needs some additional customer service training. Very rude for no reason at all - no one is forcing them to work in a customer facing service job, if they can’t be nice send em somewhere else.

Horrible service when you call over the phone! The person who answers in customer service sounds like she's half sleep. The Deli Dept never answers the phone and when you ask to speak with a Manager, they put you on hold until you get tired and hang up. They need people who WANT to work.

We bought a king cake and ate the entire thing this evening, a little late for Mardi Gras, but fully expecting to discover the little hidden child figure. Nothing to be found. Disappointed.
