Wow, very impressive, professional craftsmanship. My door is over 100 year's old, could not find anyone who could duplicate the trim archives over the glass. I heard of Ricca's, but didn't think I could afford them, that was before I talked to Julie, she is a very pleasant, patient, knowledge professional lady. I just picked up my door ( 2 weeks early) I can't get over how perfect it looks. If you need restoration done, go to ricca's first, like me you'll be glad you did. Many, many thanks to Julie and staff. Rick Morris

Unreliable, can't be trusted to keep their word. After calling ahead about selling two cypress pillars, I sent three photographs of the features next to a standard doorway to provide scale as well as detailed measurements which said the dimensions were 82 and one half inches tall and 5 and one half inches wide. Julie sent a low offer of $50 each. When we attempted to ask for an offer twenty dollars nearer to their market value, she replied in text that she was firm with her $50 offering. Having gotten that far and with no room to store them, I and two friends loaded the heavy awkward antiques onto a bike trailer and with great effort delivered them five miles away in ninety plus degree heat to Ricca's front door . Just catching our breath we were met by Julie who declared she was going to pass and renigg on her 'firm offer' she had made and we had accepted, claiming she now thought them too short to interest her. This despite having had the photos and dimensions for three hours. REALLY? YES REALLY ....UNPROFESSIONAL and unsympathetic to our trust and efforts.

I was looking for an odd sized replacement door . The salesperson took me to a large selection of old stripped doors and helped me find one that could be sized to fit easily. She also helped with all the hardware as well.
Plus its a fun place to look thru if you enjoy old architectural elements.

Very rude, unhelpful and unprofessional staff members. I also experienced a feeling of racism as a few other reviewers mentioned. As well, many rude comments made as if we would not be able to afford items they had to offer. Complete misjudgment on their end. I gave my business elsewhere to Bank Architectural Antiques and spent over $2k on what I was looking to purchase, without be judged on what I can and can't afford!

I had a great time visiting this place. It had all kinds of great stuff. The lighting selection is top tier. The people were very friendly and helpful. The antique ceiling fans were a little high but the fact that they had antique ceiling fans is awesome! I will definitely visit this place anytime I visit NOLA.

Ricca's was great. The service was wonderful. The staff was friendly. They had the weatherboards we needed to fix an old house built in the 1950's.
