I can’t say enough good things about how Rhodes handled my father’s recent funeral. The entire staff from Joan Rhodes on down was excellent. They were super professional, sincere and efficient in everything they did. My father looked so natural that my mom changed her mind to open his casket during the funeral. The pastor even commented at the end of the service that Rhodes did such a good job that he thinks they should do classes for the other funeral homes he has dealt with. Excellent job. I highly recommend them. Peace.

Death is never easy..but I must say Rhodes funeral home in Gretna, made my family feel at ease.. the entire process from beginning to end , will be something to remember. No complaints here..

Rhodes Funeral Home stole most of our insurance money! When we asked for proof of their prices Rhodes Funeral Home retaliated by doing Black Face on my Mother for the visitation! Rhodes said "We Don't Do Pancake Makeup" and had the nerve to charge us an extra $200.00 dollars for it! When we said we'd file a complaint with the Louisiana Funeral Board, Rhodes said they are friends! Where is the justice? Do not go to them! Protect your loved ones and protect yourself from the horror Rhodes funeral home will inflict if you make even the smallest complaint or changes!

Ruined my father's funeral a while back.They basically just grabbed the skin of my father's face, tugged it hard enough that it looked like plastic wrap and had the nerve to tell me in a very snippy manner, his daughter who had known him for many decades and seen all his old pictures that's how he looked when he was younger.None of his children or extended family or friends recognized him. Most people, including me, audibly asked who's that? Because we thought the wrong person was on display.Yeah, not good to f'ing argue with the people who knew him personally.Next time a loved one dies, and I'm in charge, they aren't being taken here.And if it's me, my soul will hop back into my body to bat the pee out of the one trying to drag me here.

My grandma’s memorial was today and her urn was very beautiful. We asked for them to put her obituary in the news paper and it didn’t get done as we were told, also her name is spelled wrong on her urn.

Horrible !! Mark Rhodes will disrespect your loved one and YOU. I called because 3 tombstones with RFH name was dumped on my father / family plot ! Whether RFH do or don’t have anything to do with with gilberts cemetery ….don’t DUMP a casket on someones plot when you clearly see IT MARKED !! Very unprofessional. And Mark Rhodes is incompetent of his position and very distasteful / bad representation to Rhodes funeral home business. Funeral home is not a call center its a funeral business that should 100% be compassionate towards people whom have lost a loved one whether it was decades ago or more recently. Dominique is another horrible representative. Will put you on hold.. and basically play games on the phone. Be cautious of this company.

Today my Best Friend's Mom funeral ⚱️ was today???And Rhodes Funeral home officiated the funeral ⚱️ Services for my friends Mom and the Staff went above and beyond to make sure her Mom's funeral ⚱️ services was done with Much Care and Sympathy!!!!!Thier "Rhodes" professionalism is like No other funeral parlor I've been too!!!Thank you so much Rhodes!!!!

Death is never easy but Stephanie and Gilbert at the Washington Ave. location made laying my mom to rest such and easy and peaceful transition especially when it came to ensuring all the small details were planned for. The entire experience was amazing and the customer service my family and I received was more then we could have ever asked for. I would recommend them to everyone!

Did a wonderful job with my mom Mark Rhodes is a doll. Professional such comfort in our time of need. Referred us to grief counseling and followed up months after the funeral to check in on us. Jennifer at their Chef Menteur location was so helpful.
