The employees here at the check out are not following the mask mandate. They stood there with no masks and continued their conversation as I spend over $100 on pet food. All the while not saying thank you or addressing me in any way. So rude In so many ways. Will start ordering my pet food online.

This store has made a revamp with their staff everyone is super helpful and friendly, when my dogs have gone to get groomed there, the gentleman is awesome he's helpful, friendly and my dogs look good, he takes his time with them...

I booked online and when I arrived after driving from Bywater to Algiers the groomer wasn't there. I learned he had a problem because of the weather and because he hadn't planned well enough to have his client list with him there was no phone call. A day later I still haven't received a phone call. This is poor customer service no matter what the reason.

5 Stars is not enough stars! I came into this Petco today and walked into the groomers without an appointment hoping to get my dogs nails trimmed but totally prepared to be turned away. My dog is half min pin and very skittish and difficult with groomers and vets and I knew he would fight and give the groomer a hard time. The young man ( I think his name was Ras) was so amazing with my dog! I expected him to just pull my dog into the back and start a wrestling match but this man got down on the floor and sat there with my dog talking to him and giving him treats taking his time to build trust and he handled him so well. Marley fought but not nearly as bad as I expected because the groomer was firm but so sweet to him which was a relief for me. We got his nails trimmed and it was a pleasant experience for us both. I am so grateful for that man. Employee of the month!

Tiny tiny hole Smallest and saddest Petco .Staff don't even speak to your pets .Unfriendly maybe you shouldn't hire young kids

NEVER BOOK ONLINE FOR GROOMING. This is the second time I have made an appointment for grooming online and no groomer has showed up. This time I show up and I'm told grooming is closed ! A complete waste of my time. They get 3 stars because in the past I've had good experiences with grooming.

I LOVE going to this Petco for many reasons...... It is not as overwhelming as some of the other stores. I can always find what I need. That is a HUGE plus when you are searching for many different kinds of products for your pets. The staff is always knowledgable and helpful. The management handles any issues that you have with ease and the correct method of action. There is always a member of the staff that greets me and asks me how they can help. Another plus, is that it is CLEAN! Nobody likes to go to a nasty dirty store. Out of ALL of the Petco's I have visited in the New Orleans area, this one is the cleanest. Everything is spick and span and in its place. They always have items in stock, unlike the other Petco stores I have been to. I recently signed up for one of the dog training classes and can't wait to get started. I know that the dog trainer there is educated, kind and patient. I fully trust them with my puppy! I have also brought my puppy to the grooming salon. I would normally be very nervous about this but they put me at ease with their very educated and caring staff. She always comes out looking beautiful. And you know what else.... they will help you bring your items to your car!! who does that these days... Overall a great experience. They make shopping easy.

Dave was so kind and courteous to both me and my dog Doris. He truly went above and beyond just customer service... my sweet old girl dog came out not only fresh, clean and with her dainty parts taken care of, she was super chilled out and relaxed after. Thank you Dave!
