Due to Hurricane Ida, the menu was modified, but the Lady made my shrimp poorboy perfectly!!! She and the young man were extremely pleasant, eagerly giving service with a big warm smile. Plus, I brought uncooked meats-ribeye steaks, T-bone steaks, and chicken leg quarters that were fresh and reasonably priced.

In the back of this market, there is a deli that has the best poboys in this part of the city. $15 for a 32 inch sub is absolutely unbeatable. Try their catfish or shrimp. You won't be disappointed. Plus they have a myriad of household items like soap, trash bags, toilet paper and a pretty large selection of other things that are fairly affordable. If you spend $50 there, they also give you a free gift.

This store is like a mini-market. Surprising amount of grocery items, a meat market, some bulk food items too. It's an unusual store, uniquely New Orleans. This place is one of my favorites. Has a large beer section as well. Lots of cleaning and household products as well as a great selection of queso.

Stumbled upon this place while living out there for work and asked if they sold some type plate lunches he had and the old tymer hooked me up with the biggest breakfast plate and chicken plate ever price was right i been eating chicken plates in my dreams ever since yet along i have had chicken alot of different places and this then only place i have eaten chicken cold right out the fridge without warning it highly recommended their clean courteous and professional in that order.......!!!!!!
