Really interesting tour of the first licensed pharmacy in the US. Our tour guide Grace told an intriguing and informative story of early pharmacy and New Orleans history.

Can't recommend the guided tour enough. They only do them at 10am on certain days, and you can buy tickets in advance. The tour guide Grace was so fun and engaging, she really made the history of medicine throughout the past few centuries come alive. A tour is only as good as its guide, and this is one of the best ones my family has been on! A great way to end our stay in New Orleans.

Based upon reviews that we read, we reserved tickets for touring the Pharmacy Museum. It was the best activity that we have completed during our 6-day vacation in New Orleans. We HIGHLY recommend your making time to reserve and take this tour. Absolutely fascinating and entertaining. Very funny guides. You will learn so much and heighten your appreciation for the quality of our lives today. Definitely visit the upstairs museum after the tour. If you have been to the incredible Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, this Pharmacy Museum seems similar for enlightenment and amazement...except unfortunately, there are no tour options for the Mutter.

We found this place extremely fascinating and informative. Please do not bring small children here though w it's flights od very steep steps, close quarters and quiet atmosphere. They also do require a 10 dollar entry fee.

Did the guided tour on Sunday at 10:00am. Tour started right on time and we loved our tour guide! They were very knowledgeable about the history of the pharmacy and Louisville - I really enjoyed how they framed the impact of the history of pharmacy on society and everyday culture and would relate it back to pop culture. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing listening tour!! So fun, informative, and relevant. Delivered more than I was expecting, though I assumed a tour meant we’d be walking around. Instead, you’re standing still most of the time which can be difficult for some like me who gets real fidgety

This is a must see if you visit New Orleans! So many incredible things to see, and preserved so well. The curator was fantastic, and the private tour was well worth it! He combined a thorough knowledge of history with humor and an unmatched enthusiasm that made it so entertaining and educational. Again I highly recommend it if you're visiting!

This museum was amazing and was a highlight of my NOLA trip so far! I did the 10 am guided tour with Grace and she was fantastic. It’s great because you have the museum to yourself as the self guided tours don’t start until 11 am. Grace really dove into the history of New Orleans and the museum and was really entertaining and informative at the same time. I only wish her tour was longer and she could have walked us through the second floor as well.
