I have visited more than 35 states and over 70 cities, but I have never encountered such rude people. The museum is a scam. Two tiny rooms with junk are not worth even 10 dollars per person. I would like to note that the prices listed are different. We saw a sign indicating a price of 9 dollars, but the administrator, who was rudely talking on the phone about personal matters at the time, told us the entrance fee was 10 dollars per person. I do not recommend this place.

Not really a museum. It’s a few rooms with some interesting artifacts, artwork, and history. The spelling and grammar on the descriptions is somewhat lacking. It feels like somebody took the downstairs of their house and converted it into this “museum” (minus any restrooms-good luck finding convenient restrooms in New Orleans) after cleaning out their garage. Honestly, it was a disappointment. I was looking forward to this and was severely underwhelmed. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you are really curious, and don’t mind paying to squeeze into a small, cluttered space. —-I took a lot of photos, but in fairness to the “museum” I only posted a few. If you want to see the rest you’ll have to check it out for yourself.

A little pricey, but was mostly worth it. The items had pictures and expectations with the backstory. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids, because it's not really aimed for that age group.

Very unique museum about the history and cultural impact of Voodoo in America, specifically New Orleans.
Tickets are $10 a person. Great way to beat the heat!

There is a self guided tour here as well as guided. This is a Tiny venue, however, you can access the exhibit with a small umbrella stroller. There is so much to see, Take your time to read everything. 100% AUTHENTIC. NO Touching & Handling items. Pictures are okay, NO Flash Photography. NO Video.
The only reason it took over an hour was because we had a 10+ party to view the museum and there was a tour going on when we entered.

This is two small rooms and a hallway crammed with artifacts and information. Really fascinating. I takes about an hour if you want to read everything and take your time. We went in the early afternoon on a weekday, and it was not crowded. There is a gift shop with lots of interesting items. It was really cold inside, I wished I had brought a light sweater.

Mr. Crow provided an insightful, revealing tour with explanations that exceeded our expectations. The museum is quaint and the tour is casual, but the information was impactful for our group. It’s the one tour that left us thinking!

Entrance fee was $10. It's a small location with a hallway and 2 small rooms of artifacts. Maybe 15 people and you have no room to move for perspective of size. Nevertheless, there are some historical artifacts with their meaning/description.

It's quite the experience. Nothing scary, I'd say, but a lot of history.
The place is indeed small, and it gets crowded very easily.
But I definitely recommend the visit for anyone interested in finding out the history behind voodoo and learning more about the subject.
I totally loved it!

Very interesting and educational. I went many years ago as a teenager with my mother and grandmother. I think they may have been near bourbon street. I looked for it a couple of years ago when my husband and I came down & couldn’t find it. My family and I were there last week and just stumbled across it. I was very excited and just had to go in! My family really enjoyed it as well! It is small, but it is jam packed with such history. I wish we had more time to really look around!

What a pleasure to be shown around the museum and New Orleans sites by Dr Crow - Andrew Wiseman. Thank you for introducing us to Voodoo culture and the history of this city.

Interesting, small museum dedicated to Voodoo. A lot of information, artifacts in a relatively small space. Actually 2 rooms and a narrow corridor.

It's a unique museum with lots of great artifacts and information relevant to Voodoo history. I'd recommend it to those who are curious about the Loa, Santeria, Orishas or Hoodoo culture.

My father-in-law and I had a very enjoyable time on the Voodoo Tour with the inimitable Nate Scott. Over about three hours, Nate gave us a thorough education in the history of voodoo in well-rehearsed rhyme and rhythm. Entertaining, informative, and often very funny. Treat yourself to a morning in Nate's company, you won't regret it.
