This place gets a 5 star rating from me due to the employees. What an amazing groups of people. They were professional, polite, and personable. The food was amazing, and the service was beyond measure. These 2 ladies treated me like I was family all while getting work done for others. DEBRA and PATRICIA made me like New Orleans a lot more. Thanks to these ladies and many of your other employees, I truly enjoyed my trip to this convention center. Keep up the great work, ladies.

I visited the convention center to attend the Barrett Jackson car show. We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the experience. I can't wait until next year.

I recently attended a safety conference at the New Orleans Convention Center, and overall, the experience was quite positive. The learning environment provided a conducive setting for the conference, and the facility itself was well cared for, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.However, one significant drawback was the lack of clear signage or information regarding where to obtain conference badges. Arriving at the convention center, I was disheartened by the initial confusion and the absence of clear directions. I spoke with two convention staff members who, unfortunately, knew very little about the convention and couldn't provide the guidance I needed.This lack of information was disappointing, as it left many attendees, including myself, feeling a bit lost during the initial stages of the event. In such a large and busy venue, clear signage and knowledgeable staff are essential to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process.Once past this initial hurdle, the conference itself offered a valuable learning experience. The sessions were informative, and the opportunity to network with fellow professionals was rewarding. The New Orleans Convention Center's facilities were well-maintained and offered a conducive environment for knowledge-sharing and professional development.In the future, I hope that the convention center can address the issues related to signage and staff knowledge to enhance the overall experience for attendees. Despite the initial challenges, the conference proved to be a valuable learning opportunity, and I look forward to attending again with the hope of smoother logistics.

Attended the National Organization of Black chemist and chemical engineers gala where Dr Mae Jameson was the speaker. The gala was beyond words. The food at the convention center was absolutely fabulous! They had photo booth and even a barbie box. It was completely awesome!!!!!!

The space is comfortable and is pretty standard for a conference. I have an issue with the fact that there are no stairways to access the different floors. You're forced to use either escalators or elevators, and as someone who tries to make healthy choices (walking, steps, etc), not having that option is extremely frustrating. Every stairwell that I found says "Emergency exit only".

The convention center is extremely versatile. It can easily host everything from the cattleman's association convention complete with cows in their pens in the Great Hall to the most elegant ball.

Very nice and modern facility, unfortunately they have the air conditioning turned on so high that it's too cold and uncomfortable to be in there for more than a few minutes... and we had to be in there for days. I myself am hesitatant to ever attend another event there because of this issue.

I had a great time at the center for a trade show I was involved in met some great people and seen some cool things definitely the place to go and visit the employees working at the event we’re great and very helpful definitely will visit again when I’m back ??!!!

They hosted the Pickleball tournament. Staff were so nice! This place was clean!! The bathrooms were spotless. They cleaned them constantly. The food was good. Walking distance from our hotel and some great food.

I would expect better at a black tie for chefs. My main course should not have left the kitchen. My rib tips were burnt and inedible, fish was tough, potatoes were not cooked thoroughly, and the zucchini and squash were the best part of the meal. The salad, cheese and dessert were all pleasant.

This is a well managed and very clean convention center. The staff does a great job. The Wi-Fi work excellent though out the conference. If your going to sit in lengthy meetings you might need a jacket or long sleeve shirt the AC works really well in all the meeting rooms! I mostly stayed in the D hall but there are plenty of amenities throughout the building. There are plenty of clean and well maintained bathrooms! If your taking a cab or Uber to the convention center tell the driver what hall you’re going to or you may end up on a long walk when you arrive!

This year's Essence Culture Festival was an awesome event. I feel lifted and empowered. Chef Renee made cooking look simple and delicious, with a pan-fried salmon. In a word amazing!. Enjoyed each exhibit and vendors. I'm looking forward to the next one.
