There's a security guard who held the door open for us. There's also a teller sitting at the door if you need help ,sign in & have a seat. The lines are long , but moving.there are people at the door waiting to sign it.
It is a very busy place.

This location is terrible, bad attitudes . I never been treated like this at navy federal. The workers , are very rude . I would not come to this location at all. They need to have a training course on customer service and being friendly to vets . They will not let you do a wire 30 mins before close which I never heard of at any bank in my years of living . I would not recommend coming here .

I am not happy with Navy Federal overall as a banking institution. I have only been a member for only 30 days and was subjected to account closure due to security risk. I’m not sure what this exactly means but I was a victim of fraud in 2023 due to someone using my information to bank with this same institution Navy Federal. I found this information out only because I was applying to actually bank with them but when I called in about the application they informed me that I had already been a “member”. Which definitely wasn’t me! So aftet they did their investigation they closed the account and determined I had no affiliation. So I then waited and applied months later in January 2024 and was granted the account opening along with a business account for my consulting business. A month later it is now closed due to extreme security measures but where were these same security practices when I was victimized??? Now I have to appeal and go through hell and high water just to use my own personal information that I have total proof of and can provide. I am being punished for crimes that I didn’t commit instead of being treated as the victim I am!!!!

This credit union definitely isn’t for black folks y’all please take your money else where I been a a customer for years and after dealing with fraud and being treated so badly and not getting my money back I will be putting my money else where.

I have been a loyal customer for years. I made a deposit on Saturday of last week and initially they told me it would be available on Wednesday. I said good because my payroll was Wednesday. Then Wednesday came and they told me Friday. Then Friday came and they said 6pm. Then 6pm came and they are now saying Saturday for 6am. I have never been late on my payroll until now. I really don't understand why was I told different times and dates? I don't want to hear sorry. This is the same checks that I deposited before into this account and all you can say is sorry... Horrible customer relations. They tell you anything to get you off the phone. I am 3 days late on my payroll. I have direct deposits into this account every month. Thousands of dollars.

I just read where someone said they had terrible customer service now I don't know if that's with them that branch in New Orleans on general degaulle but all the other ones that are great and when you call customer service there are exceptionally good at what they're there to do and very knowledgeable ?

I visted this branch for the first time and because of Ms. Lakeisha, It will not be my last time. She assisted me with so many things. She was very courteous, friendly and thorough.

I’ve been with Navy Federally for about two years. I never really had any problems until today. I just wanted to share my experience. I live in Slidell, la, my purse was stolen at Walmart. I had no phone, no cards, no drivers license nothing. I had no way to get any money or pay for anything. Once I got over the shock of what happened I try and rush to the nearest branch (on the West Bank of New Orleans) to get a new debit card and some cash since I was told by a navy federal agent previously that they printed cards same day. I drove two cities got to the door at 5pm on the nose again with absolutely nothing only to be told that I couldn’t be seen because they closed at 5pm. There were at least 7 or 8 people inside the bank still in line a couple had just walked in when the security guard locked the door behind them as I was walking up the stairs and again I had nothing Not even a phone, I begged the woman because it wasn’t even 5:01 yet and I get it there are rules but come on have some human decency for another human that’s clearly in need. She actually stood there long enough to ask me could I Zella someone I told her I didn’t have a phone and I don’t live here she said she didn’t live here either and they close at 5. The woman could have cared less and just closed the door on me and my daughter. I went to the car only to realize I didn’t even have enough gas to get home and I suddenly wondered why the heck am I banking with these people. I’ve never been treated so horribly by a place I’m keeping thousands of dollars. I had to call AAA on my car to get gas to make it home. I’ve had better customer service at McDonald’s.

[Use the ATM location for correct directions until Google Maps fixes the discrepancy—NOT inside the Marine Corps base]. My experience has been positive. The branch is busy and requires more employees or location expansion. Go Navy!

47 years with Navy Federal. Superb at that time, but since they also added ALL the other service branches, they now have over 10 million members!Too much growth, MUCH too fast!Phone waiting times are extraordinary, the ONLY available branch office in New Orleans has long lines out the door and no drive thru service. The 3 ATMs located outside are convenient, but only when all of them are actually working!Office staff are courteous for the most part, but they are severely understaffed, which is a mystery, considering that this is the "Largest Credit Union in the World"!Actually, this supposedly generous "embracing ALL service members" AND their families has an odd smell of swelling their holdings to attract a buyer.Curious to know the truth behind who is the beneficiary (Controller) of the billions of dollars in assets now under the massive umbrella of what used to be known as Navy Federal Credit Union.

Antiquated and slow. I get better service and deals at Regions and Chase as a service member than I do at NFCU. I had to go to another bank for my car, house, and personal loans.
