Love, love, LOOOOVED my experience at Naghi's w/Effy. He was a respectful, wonderful salesman without being pushy and tacky. I'm in fine jewelry myself, so I appreciated his sales behaviors and presentation. Gave me a fair price and lots of information on the pieces I bought. I watched him in action with other patrons--TOP notch service! I was also impressed with the SELECTION available: gorgeous pieces in mint condition. Will definitely be back AND spread the word with any friends and/or acquaintances visiting NOLA!

Loved visiting here. The man working the counter was nice and helpful in helping me find what I wanted in my price range and I left happy. There’s two locations, I visited both but enjoyed the smaller location more. The woman working the counters at the larger location was rude, aggressive, and not very helpful. I didn’t feel welcomed and left for that reason alone.

Not only do I browse and enjoy the wonderful array of antiques, jewelry, Judaica, silver, ivory netsukes, etc...in Naghi's shop, but Efi himself is a first class guy. Several antique pieces we brought from NYC he happily bought from me. With his customary graciousness, he has polished up gold/silver jewelry I wanted to donate to charity. When he heard that, we became fast friends...such a lovely man. And his assistant Gladys is a dear as well. Don't miss the Naghi stores on Royal Street.

I bought a pair of “emerald earrings” for what was originally marked as $450 , only to find out you can type in “Turkish jewelry” on eBay , and the same exact product shows up for around $25, including shipping. . You can’t just mark ur product up over 300%. Don’t believe the positive reviews, the staff just wants ur money and to profit off of people who don’t know better.
