The two brothers that own and run Motormen auto service and body shop are really great guys. They took the time to look at my vehicle and check the computer check engine light and told me the truth about what the issues were with my truck. I was in New Orleans for the summer and had to go back to Tucson Arizona a 20 Hour drive in the extreme heat. They told me the issues were under warranty at my mechanic in Tucson and that they wouldn’t cause a problem during my trip and they were correct. They also helped me find out what my truck might be worth if I want to sell it. They are conveniently located just north of Claiborne on Euterpe the same road as Home Depot. I recommend you check them out they are funny smart fast and know their vehicles. They advised me on what type of vehicle I could switch to when I sell my diesel. When I was in their shop I felt safe, listened to, and respected. I definitely will go to them for any mechanical needs when I am in New Orleans!!Service: Vehicle Inspection

My car was blowing hot air, so I went to this shop and turns out I just had the AC button turned off but there was no wait time to see my car and they made sure my freon was all good. Great and efficient service!

Good place to take your car to the guy knows exactly what's the issue with the car although nice prices compared to everyone out there I hardly recommend the place to get your car fixed.

My car intermittent doesn’t start when turning on my ignition. I bought a replacement starter to fix it but ultimately decidedly to bring it to MotorMen to make the repair. For $250, it was replaced within an hour while I waited with them. Thanks so much!

My car had a terrifying issue with brakes as I was driving through New Orleans. I stopped here and they were able to fix it quickly and at a very reasonable price. This place saved me. Go here for affordable prices and reliable, trustworthy service.

AVOID THEM AT YOUR COST. They are unprofessional and will charge three times market price. I had to change my valve cover gasket and did an oil change, they charged $600, where the part is $60 for the gasket, oil change is $85, the rest is labor. They said 5 hours work. I googled it, that service should cost from $50 to $350, with my car model particularly it’s about $150 total. With that expensive price, they didn’t even do oil change properly. After three weeks, the car says “engine service requested”, aka oil change needed, because they didn’t reset the light for oil change as a usual $25 oil change do. Next, my car needs to replace ignition coil, they said $700, with $350 part, $350 labor. They said it’s 4 hours work. Luckily, this time I googled first, usually the labor is $50-$100, with half an hour work and most people do it themselves (easy for DIY). The part that I end up buying myself is $120. Man, it’s scary to work with them. These people lie with no emotions in their faces.

I've taken two cars here. One was a 2003 Camry and one was a 2000 Dodge Ram. Both times Motormen did great work that was super affordable. I would definitely call this an honest mechanic.
