They also run oakmont apartments. The worst trashy place ever. Management was fired and rehired many many times in only 6 months. To get 150 back from my deposit of 400 is hell. They set it up so even if the home is spotless & in good condition processing g fees take all deposit. My neighbor was paying 40$ for assisted living, normal rent was 850.

I was back and forth with the company since early july, since they can’t keep any staff. I was told I would be able to move in on a specific date, which was then back tracked on, and when being faced with homelessness because of their mistake, I was told their leasing offices would be open after the weekend, when I would be homeless for three days at that point. I was also told that entire conversations with my leasing agent were made up entirely; aka metrowide employees have no problem gaslighting possible residents. The employees for the Washington Avenue apartments were incredibly rude to me, making me cry over the phone. I was told I could come in today to pay my application fee, that they would be open until 4pm. When I arrived at 3:20pm everyone had left for the day and would not return any calls. Just to make something clear, I drove over 1000 miles from out of state to move to Louisiana for college, of which my classes are already paid for. My leasing agent wouldn’t let me pay my application fee, maybe because she felt bad about the garbage, dangerous area of the city it was in. I was then yelled at by the company for not paying the application fee that I was told not to pay? I would never wish my experience with this company on my worst enemy, so I would not recommend them to anyone. Getting in a car accident and dying would be more preferable to dealing with metrowide again. All they care about is the money, and not the lives of people they might ruin. :-) if I could give 0 stars I would.

Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. So unprofessional and ghetto, save yourself the trouble and just move somewhere else.

Lenny says that they will not be suspending rent payment during this crisis and will still charge late fees. They also stated they will continue to attempt to evict people despite the state suspending eviction proceedings.Lenny is garbage.

They had me put down a $300 holding fee and a $300 security deposit than never called me and I never got an apartment. Basically they stole my money. I have called several times over the past 3 months they say someone will call me back no one ever does. They are con artist thief’s.

Evil, predatory people. After putting tenants through hell, they make it difficult for them to break their lease. If you are a tenant of theirs, I am so so sorry. You are Metrowide’s prey. And the folks at the Tulane office are either liars, or mostly uninformed of their own policies. If I had to pick one, I’d bet they’re liars.

MetroWide is a complete joke. Always send you eviction letters when you paid the rent on time. The management team can't handle anything and will never come to make any repair. They still want to evict people and charge late fees during a pandemic. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!

If it’s a negative review...BELIEVE IT.Former employee, left voluntarily for too many reasons to list. He can go ahead and file a law suit for me speaking out against him, maybe I’ll get my last check he didn’t pay me.

If I could give a 0 star, I would. I am writing this review on behave of a construction company. This company has yet to pay their outstanding invoices. We did some "make-ready" work for them and here we are almost a year later and received no payment. When I call the accounting staff, they simply hang up. Just a heads up for any contractor.. DO NOT DO WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment for $1400/month, so it was not cheap. We rented it for the location, which is very convenient. Our biggest complaint was that the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors, their dog barking, their music and tv, their arguing.. We were downstairs and the footsteps upstairs were equally annoying. We specifically asked the renting agent if you could hear footsteps upstairs and his exact quote was "they could have a dance party up there and you would not know." Wrong. Our apartment took on a significant amount of water during every heavy rain. I reported it every time, but they never even came to look at it. Water ran through from the front door, through the living room, kitchen, and to the back door. A sloshing amount of water. They have speakers above the doors playing sirus xm radio. It is meant for the parking lot I guess, but you can hear it in your apartment unless you have the tv on. So unless you enjoy napping or reading to Lady GaGa, this place might not be for you. I could go on but you get the idea.

These people are slumlords...do yourself a favor and do not rent from Metrowide. Washington Place Apartments is filled with drug activity and prostitution. The laundry room has three washers and three dryers...at least one of each do not work and the other two have coin slots that take your quarters and then jam (on top of being so filthy-looking that you really don't even want to use them).Last summer, the neighbors three doors down had an altercation in which the girlfriend stabbed the boyfriend to death (feel free to Google this story). When I got home that night, the entire complex was taped off as a murder scene and tenants had to be escorted to their apartments. The parking lot is perpetually covered with trash. The water pressure is low and your water is frequently off due to problems with the pipelines (if you drive by 2316 Washington Avenue you will see the ongoing work by New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board which has been at least a year).Management is very unprofessional and slow to respond. A rental payment I mailed to them in February was lost but they did not inform me that they hadn't received it until a month later. They filed for eviction but when I showed up to court and provided documentation showing that payment was made and that I did an money order inquiry, the judge granted me a stay of eviction and management subsequently rescinded the eviction. However, the next month they billed me for $500 in fees related to an eviction that was rescinded.I could go on and on with this horror story but I think my point has been made.
