okayish location and hotel. we were woken up to our dog barking at room service barging into our room after one knock when we had a do not disturb sign on our door. staff wasn’t very polite and they charged more for the mini bar prices then they put online which was pretty irritating since all we picked up was a “25 dollar” wine bottle to look at it and 2 water bottles that were “10 dollars” and it ended up being 82 dollars all together (we didn’t even drink the wine which was more irritating.) staff is not very kind towards people who bring their dogs to this hotel so i suggest you find a different hotel to bring your dog to. they raise their prices a lot more than what’s advertised. the bed sheets had STAINS ALL OVER. blood, food, dirt, everything. the shower would not get cold at all and really only just stayed warm. hotel staff is not helpful what so ever. for the price we paid for this hotel and the add ons we expected it to be way nicer. they also do not accommodate for dogs. they do not care if you have a dog they put you in rooms with carpet anyways (which is hell considering most dogs don’t like peeing or pooping on cement because there’s maybe 4 trees outside of the hotel with just a little bit of dirt around it). i would not go back to this hotel if i had to stay in nola again.

Ok hotel experience. We chose it for the location. We asked for a water or city view and got a room overlooking the not-so-great looking pool area. The shower water took 10 min or more to get to warm and if I was 2nd to shower it was barely warm. Not what you expect for just under $200/night.Walkability: Only a few blocks from the quarter or getting on a streetcar.

I highly recommend this hotel, beautiful rooms, great location and very friendly & helpful staff (especially Stanley!). We were there for a birthday celebration and Stanley went above and beyond to make it special.

I have a list of PROs and CONs for this hotel.PROs:- The location is fantastic. Right in the middle between the French Quarter and the Garden District. It is within walking distance of everything and so close to public transportation.- The area is very safe and secure.- I had a safe place to rest my head and for that I was thankful.- The staff is generally very helpful and kind.CONs:- I had booked RIVERVIEW but wasn’t given this initially. After talking to the front desk, she changed my cityview to “river view”.. not much of a river view though, but it did overlook the pool, which was nice.- My experience with the front desk was 50/50. Some were very kind and helpful, others seemed like they didn’t want to be there.- The hallways have a slight wet smell to them. You get used to it.. It’s not horrendous, but it’s apparent.- I was disappointed by the maid service. My bed was made with garbage left on my bed. My new towels were poorly folded, so I ended up refolding them.- I’m a little confused by the WIFI. I connected to their “Conference” wifi but not their Meridien Guest Wifi. It seems that if I couldnt connect to the “Conference” wifi, then I would have had to pay extra.- When opening the front door to most rooms, its extremely tight with bathroom and front closet in the way. Not a huge deal, but can be annoying when staying for a long period time. I got caught in it a couple of times.- Full length mirror is blocked by the bed.I enjoyed my time here and again, I am very thankful to have had a place to rest at night. Though truthfully, if I return to New Orleans, I’ll probably try looking at other hotels.

Great stay, wonderful staff. Carmen in particular at the concierge was so helpful, helped us with late check out!

Our room was designed terribly, entering through the door was a nightmare since it’s right into the bathroom and closet doors. Cleaning service was called for fresh towels and bedsheets, the staff member practically just threw towels (not sure if they’re even clean) in the bathroom, no vacuuming, carpets were gross and stained, I wouldn’t even be surprised if they didn’t even change sheets. Staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there, a bottle of water was $5 USD. Only thing that was good was the location, walkable to the French quarters. Would not stay again for the price we paid

Location and room were fine! Service especially during the day was terrible! I called ahead asking if they had a peloton girl at front desk says yes! Leave my running shoes and brought my peloton special shoes and no bike! On top of the service being subpar!

Stay 8 daysDay 4 now, worst service ever! The housekeeper does not provide us with a water bottle. Shower gel is not filled in the bottle. Always need to inquire at the front desk! while the receptionist's unwanted reaction was present.I didn't come here for free; I had to pay for my accommodation and services.

Friends stayed here for our wedding. Staff was lovely and their room views were so nice! I couldn’t believe the proximity to everything while also being out of the big mix on Canal or in the Quarter.

I want to give a huge shout out to the staff and establishment of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to personally thank the following staff members for professionally handling a situation that I had and making me feel valued as a Gold Elite Member: Kimmie, Emmerson, Coco and the manager, Stanley. I look forward to returning to that location in the future.

Except for the food, this Le Meridien is a 5-star hotel. But the room service was disappointing. It was delivered in a paper bag, with the food contained in plastic take-out containers. The cutlery was plastic too. For this we paid top dollar plus a delivery service feed. I hope this is not the new standard for Marriott room service.
