Laura’s Candy shop is wonderful with the best candy in NOLA, Ann must be protected at all costs. She is intriguing and so knowledgeable and helpful! Will make sure to send all people I know visiting the quarter ❤️

Very tasty treats and I love that it’s made locally. Definitely has some of the items you should pick up while in NOLA.

Overrated. Those pralines are too sweet, I mean, you just felt like you were chewing sugar. No, for me it is definitely NEVER AGAIN. I paid $45 for a box of 6 chocolates and 6 pralines (pralines that unfortunately ended up in the trash, you couldn't eat those)
The chocolates were good, not delicious; but nothing bad.

Went in for a visit on 8/6, and was so excited to go in. We went in shortly after they opened, and were the only customers in the shop, the older lady barely spoke when I said good morning, and as I walked and browsed I turned to her intending to ask questions and she looked away and walked away. I smiled hoping to engage her and she just gave us a dismissive look so we left. On my next visit to New Orleans I will find a candy shop that's welcoming.

We have been coming to Laura's since 2012. Whether it be the Mississippi mud bars or the pralines, everything just tastes like New Orleans - sweet, buttery and indescribably delicious!

The strawberry truffle was amazing. The coconut cluster was hard and difficult to eat.

Oldest confectioner in the French Quarter so they must know what they’re doing. They are known for their pralines and Mississippi Mud candy. Their service is amazing too. Must stop.

Sweetness has no place at this establishment. I was on the hunt for some sweet treats for my special someone back home, but instead I was faced with the sourpussed woman with blonde hair and a red sweater DEMANDING I shut her front door that was ajar upon my arrival. Walking in I was excited to purchase some confections, however this nasty woman only threw salt. I walked out knowing she just wouldn't get why I left. I've read the previous reviews of her place before posting this and it seems it's time for her to throw in the towel.
