Words cannot express how thankful we are for Latrobe’s and how AMAZING our wedding was. 6 months before our wedding, our original venue had to cancel on us and we were left scrambling. We reached out to Latrobe’s and they helped us out tremendously and worked out any problems we had. Rylan answered our many many phone calls and questions, and was so incredibly helpful. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. I had no stress at all and all the employees were INCREDIBLE. They always made sure we were okay, had food, and a drink in our hands! I’m so thankful our original venue canceled because we got to have the wedding of our dreams at Latrobe’s. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Working with the team at Latrobe’s was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. The venue was beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated providing our dream atmosphere with the perfect French Quarter location. The food was phenomenal as was the attention to detail in the execution of the entire event. Yet what truly stood out was the level of service provided. Led by Rylan, the entire team top to bottom went above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. From the initial transparency in booking the venue, through the tasting, rehearsal and final day we felt taken care of and confident that we were in the hands of seasoned professionals who are experts in their craft.
I cannot recommend Latrobe’s highly enough. If you’re looking to host an event in the French Quarter and would like to know that you’ll be working with the best in the business do not hesitate to make Latrobe’s your choice.

Latrobe's was the perfect wedding venue. The staff are experts and so friendly to work with, answering all our questions and going above and beyond. The space is absolutely gorgeous and doesn't require much extra decor, because it is already such a beautiful atmosphere. Their food is also delicious and so many options to choose from. Overall, everything went off without a hitch, and all our guests had an amazing time too. We cannot recommend them enough.

We hosted a corporate event at LaTrobe's during a recent conference, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The team were absolute professionals, so helpful and flexible in making sure the event turned out exactly how we hoped (including sourcing a last minute mic I'd forgotten we needed.) The food was delicious and the bar staff were top notch. The feedback following the event was that in 20 years of running this event all over the US, the event at LaTrobe's (our first time but hopefully not our last) was the best one we've ever had. Huge thanks to Millie and Rylan and the team, I can't recommend LaTrobe's highly enough!

Latrobe's on Royal is the perfect wedding venue! As an out of town bride, booking at Latrobe's made the planning process way easier. So much so that we did not feel the need to hire a wedding planner. The venue's highly-skilled and experienced team are able to provide helpful insights every step of the way and are always willing to answer questions. Their vendor list is very helpful, everyone they recommended did an incredible job. The building itself is nothing short of magical. Giving our guests a real taste of New Orleans was incredibly important. If our guests did nothing else during their trip, we wanted them to feel like they had an experience unique to the city. Latrobe's definitely helped us achieve that. From the beautiful courtyard complete with burning gas lamps, to the grand banking room, to the wonderful food selection of delicious regional delicacies. Many of our guests told us that they felt they had been transported back in time. That it was the best, most unique wedding they had ever attended - and with the best food! Lastly, the team at Latrobe's is incredible - I actually miss talking to them every week! (LOL) Rylan, Hana, and Millie are the best. I am so grateful for their expertise, patience, and kindness during the entire planning process. A big thank you to Rylan especially for her guidance during our tasting and rehearsal! We would also like to thank the day-of event team, including Marté and David, who made us feel so special on our wedding day. Many of our guests commented on the kindness of the Latrobe's staff who made them feel so welcome. In conclusion, there are simply not enough stars to accurately review Latrobe's! If you have been searching for a venue in New Orleans, congratulations, you've found it! Trust me. We will cherish the memories forever.

To start, I think my wedding was without a doubt the best night of my life thanks to Latrobe's. To us, the night was perfect. From the champagne skirt upon reception entrance, to the INCREDIBLE food, the staff dancing with everyone on the dance floor, Marte making sure we were always having fun and had a drink in hand, to Rylan at the helm of a second line to end the night. I can't even count how many people came up to us to sing praises of the Latrobe's team, but if I had to guess, it was all 120 of our guests! The Latrobe's team are some of the most wonderful people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting and we will never forget all that they did for us. I truly don't think there is a venue out there that does it better than them. We have had the time of our lives working with these wonderful people to pull off our New Orleans destination wedding and my only wish is that I can do it all over again with them every year. From the very bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything!

I wish I had more stars to give. My daughters wedding ceremony and reception were nothing short of magical. Rylan, Hana, and Millie are AMAZING! From the first tour, to the planning/tastings, rehearsal, to the actual ceremony and reception was just PERFECT. We live 6 hours away and were in their hands because we (the parents) didn't know how New Orleans "rolled"! They provided us with a surplus of information, and not just for their venue, but for little tidbits leading up to the wedding. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. The key words I have heard from the wedding are breath taking, stunning, "blown away". I haven't even mentioned how we were taken care of- Marte is truly an AMAZING person! He is so genuine and kind and wonderful! He carried my daughters train around from front of building to the entrance so nothing would get on it before going down the aisle . And when my husband said to her that if marriage isn't what she wants, they will turn left instead of right to the doors and Marte said "and I'm turning left with you" ! ( don't read anything into my husband's comment! It's a family thing where his Dad said it to him and we have been happily married for 33 years) Marte took excellent care of us- ALL of the staff did! The DJ was on point and everyone was enjoying the dance floor, and when the fine folks that had been taking such care of us all evening, got in on the dances-- it was the cherry on top! SO MUCH FUN!! The hot and cold passes were perfect- the food was AMAZING- at one point, my husband got up and got in line for food, and Marte quickly redirected him back to his seat and told him " I got you". That was the entire evening! Latrobe's took care of every detail. They were always 5 steps ahead of me . Over and over people asked me if I was stressed about preparing for the wedding, and I NEVER was b/c of the Ladies of Latrobes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Latrobe's for your venue. I would do it all over again 100%

The history of the building is the reason why we choose this venue. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect setting for our wedding day. One of the many special touches they offer is that of a personal attendant for the bride and groom on the night of and ours was phenomenal! We also wanted to offer our guests an entirely vegan menu, and they accommodated this with delicious options - our guests are still talking about it!

Latrobe’s hosted our wedding ceremony and reception in April 2023, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of the finer details and puts you at ease throughout the process — they’re responsive, thoughtful, and give your wedding the love and attention it needs to thrive. The historic space is such a crowd pleaser and has a genuine New Orleans feel. Wedding decisions are always tough, but Latrobe’s will always absolutely be the right decision.

Bride here! I have nothing but the highest regard for this place and the people here who made my wedding an absolute triumph!While you're planning your wedding, you'll find that the Ladies Latrobe (Millie, Rylan and Hana) are organized, professional, highly experienced, and pragmatic all while somehow having great energy and keeping things fun. They keep detailed notes from your conversations, collect copies of your Save-The-Date and invitations etc., hear your plans and make helpful suggestions. They respond to emails promptly and answer the phone which are both huge for a bride planning a wedding. They seem to really love the wedding/events business.While you're at your wedding, service staff and event coordinators will cater to you and your family while making sure that your guests are thriving. I don't know how they do it. The staff at Latrobe's seems to be keenly aware of what a bride and groom need on their wedding day. Since it was my first time as a bride, I had no idea what I would need, but they anticipated it all and delivered quite a memorable experience to me and my guests. My advice for brides choosing Latrobe's is to trust fall into their expertise and know that you will be taken care of.I was surprised that immediately after the ceremony, my shiny brand new husband and I were ushered to a private room with a table set for two, and served dinner and drinks. Staff left us to talk and have private time to reflect on our wedding day leading up to that moment. We mostly sat wide-eyed across from each other speaking intermittently only to geek out and say things like "Holy s@#% we're married!!" between bites of appetizers. Once we decided to rejoin the reception, we felt connected, grounded and ready to party. I know this was a special experience because I have heard from other brides/grooms that you won't eat, sit down or see your new spouse during your reception. But Latrobe's doesn't accept that this is how a wedding should be, and instead built in time for my husband and me to do all three of those things for as long as we wanted.Before the ceremony, my family and I were introduced to a personal assistant (shout out to Q!) who, during the reception, refilled our drinks and otherwise made sure we were having a great time.My husband and I are so grateful for this experience and have nothing but memories of fun and joy from our wedding day at Latrobe's.

I had my wedding there last October, as our one year anniversary is coming up I can’t help but think of Latrobe’s and how they truly made my wedding spectacular! Rylan was such an amazing help with planning, Hana was great on the day of as well! Q was the absolute best during the wedding. The food and drinks were so good, all my guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. I LOVE this venue and highly recommend it to anyone!

Latrobe's is a beautiful, unique private event venue, named after the building's architect, Benjamin Latrobe. Yes, that's the same renowned architect whose work includes the US Capitol building in Washington. He was working in New Orleans in the last chapter of his life, when he died in the city of Yellow Fever. I think this is one of the most interesting and beautiful buildings in the city. I always enjoy going to parties and events here, and recommend it to you if you are hosing a private event.
