We went to Labcorp on Monday, October 30, for bloodwork for Paul.We were treated with kindness, respect, and both ladies were concerned about him.The tests came back normal. Thank God.We are on vacation, and had time elements were crucial.We can continue our vacation.The ladies at Labcorp deserve a pat on the back and a raise.

Had a terrible experience. The lady behind the desk is the ONLY one in there running the front desk and doing the labs. The check in process took forever. I got there at 10:45 for a glucose test. When I checked in, and was finally called to the desk, the lady said I had no orders for a glucose test. I called my doctors office and they said they were putting the orders in right away. By the time the lady got to me again, it was around 11:30. At that time she said that she couldn’t do my glucose test till after lunch because she’s going to lunch at 12pm. I told her that I had been fasting all morning and that if I wait till after lunch that’ll have me fasting until after 1pm. I’m 6 months pregnant. She said that she can’t control time and that she can’t control how my doctors office didn’t put in the order. Keep in mind I got there before 11am. I asked the lady if I could just take the glucose test a little before 12 that way I’ll be ready by the time she gets back from lunch. She said no because she had to watch me and that I couldn’t leave the waiting room. I’ve had a glucose test before at the Ochsner location and was not monitored…im an adult; I know not to eat or drink until after the test. The lady had a nasty attitude, poor work ethic, lack of compassion for me as the patient, displayed little interest in trying to get my test going before her lunch break. God forbid I mess up her lunch. I hadn’t eaten since the night before but by all means she needed her lunch and was perfectly fine telling me that I had to wait until after SHE ATE for me to have my test. Me, the 6 month pregnant one. It was just an unethical experience and I’m embarrassed to actually work under the same company as her. I work at Touro as an RN and understand that sometimes flexibility can be offered to patients to promote their wellbeing. I have NEVER told a patient that they have to wait to eat until I ate. My patients come first. I hope this place gets managed better and staffs appropriately. The lady behind the desk may have been nicer if she weren’t running the lab by herself. This was just an awful experience. I ended up not doing the glucose test. It wouldn’t have been safe for me to wait that long without eating or drinking.

I came in for an employment drug screen and it took 3 whole weeks for them to tell my job that there was a “collectors error” so it set my start date back a whole TWO MONTHS !!Horrible location and the women at the front do not have good attitudes. I feel bad for the one lady in the back that (that was so flustered because yall are overworking her) is doing literally everything by herself all day while the others just sit there chitchatting, please do better, I see in the reviews that the same has been said for literal months and yall still have that woman running the whole place by herself and having everyone wait hours for drug screens.I saw several people get turned around (after saying they rushed over after a long day at work on a bus) because of the long wait times yall have due to no workers.I went to the Metairie location off veterans for my 2nd test and they had me IN AND OUT! Do better!!

Awful awful. I scheduled an appointment for 11 am and when I got there the lady said they could not do it. After I told them I needed to or else my start date would be pushed back, she finally agreed. Overall, she was incredibly rude and I ended up not being able to go to the bathroom which made her EXTREMELY unhappy. I ended up going to a different Labcorp and they treated me with respect. I will not be returning.

I felt unsafe. Seconds before the technician withdrew blood, I wanted to get up and walk out. I didn’t because I had waited over 2 hours to be seen and I needed my blood tests urgently. But… What a disaster of an operation this is. What is going on at this location is ridiculous — if not illegal under employment law.There is ONE person handling ALL matters - from checking in patients to actually drawing blood. It is a known fact that the technician routinely works through lunch, as she did the day I was there. A few minutes before noon she locks the front door, so anyone with appointments after that cannot get in until she “catches up.”My appointment was for 9 am, I was there for 2 hours. When she called my name, she was very flustered. Who wouldn’t?? Why is she handling this location all by herself? This is no menial job — she is drawing people’s DNA, handling it, storing it, transferring to the appropriate lab facilities. Wouldn’t you want someone in that position to not be stressed, overworked, and abused (yes, what they’re doing to her is abusive) the way she always is? I’m very confused.To be clear, the technician does the best that she can do. She’s obviously trained. But this is completely unfair to her — and to the customers.Oh, and by the way, this is not new. This is an ongoing situation. Several family members of mine have been at this location, and the same thing has happened, almost verbatim.Something is not right here. Labcorp is a national corporation, it appears. Why is someone handling all aspects of such an important operation like this with zero assistance? I’ve never seen anything like it.

One of the worse labcorp locations, although customer service seems to be lacking at most. Wait forever, unpleasant (at times insulting) to patients. No urgency. No access to bathroom. If you have to go to Labcorp, do yourself a favor and find another location

This place is exceptionally unprofessional. They do not state their 1 hour lunch break in their hours and neither do they answer their phones. The website states open 7:30am-4:30pm but mention nothing about their break so you only figure out their ‘real hours’ once you take time out of your day to make it there. Some of the stuff are rude and unhelpful.

Waited almost three hours to get seen after arriving at 8:45. First two hours I was there they had one person on staff who had to do everything - paperwork, insurance, draws - by herself. Several people came and left while I waited but I had to fast to do this. Staff were nice and trying hard and even worked through their lunch to try to get people in but they shouldn’t be in this situation.

I only give 3 stars to the poor lady they leave alone to do all the work every day. This is ridiculous, it is the busiest office in the building yet has the least amount of staff. The world doesn't have 2 hours everytime they need a vial of blood drawn. Very unprofessional.

I arrived at 11 a.m. for a drug screen I signed into the kiosk and I was told after a hour of waiting to come back at 1 p.m. I then arrived back at 1 p.m. to be met with a sign on the door that says at lunch will return at 1:30 pm it is now past 1:30 and the door is still locked while myself and others wait in the hallway. Judging from other reviews weeks to months ago this is not the first and only complaint and I would recommend anyone to choose a different location because this is highly incompetent and unprofessional
