Loved my stay at Hotel Provincial! I stayed there for two days as I was attending the Eras Tour. The hotel staff were very kind and made everything to make our stay a great one. Loved the Taylor Swift goodies at our room

I stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert and it was such a magical experience! Mike is such a kind soul and helped us figure out transportation and the beach. David was so helpful too in helping the whole time. It really did feel like a home away from home - felt so warm and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and historic but our room was renovated and so beautiful and clean. The Swiftie gift bag upon our arrival was such a sweet surprise - they really cared for us!

In the heart of the French square, the staff are adorable and the hotel is calm despite everything.
Pretty swimming pool and interior courtyard.

I’m so disappointed by my stay here. I previously came to this hotel and had a great experience in 2020 prior to the pandemic. When I came this time I requested months prior to have a in the courtyard and was met back a curt email saying they don’t guarantee anything, so I asked if I couldn’t pay more to get a room I wanted? I received no reply. Fine I let it go. The room we received was in the very back building above the breakfast restaurant that smells like curdled milk. Every 2 minutes starting at 8 am we heard a door slam. I woke up so many times. No sleeping in except for with a pillow over my head. Reception was NOT friendly. My disappointment was met with a rude toned “it’s a request not a guarantee” about my
Email and that we could move for more money to a room that was not ready. I was already paying double the price in Canadian. I decided not to because we’re checking out the next day. I think a hotel that gave a crap would care a bit more to fix the situation at least with some friendliness. Too bad.
Walkability: It’s close to everything

This hotel is REALLY cool and unique. We stayed in the King suite and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very nice and everything was pretty reasonable priced in my opinion. Will be staying here for future visits

On vacation in New Orleans for four days, I booked three nights at this hotel for my wife and I. I was not entirely satisfied with their services and especially with the price charged for one night.
When I arrived, I asked the front desk if they could store my luggage before checking in because my room wasn't ready yet. Obviously no problem but then, the valet was not friendly at all. It seems like it wasn't his idea to keep my luggage anywhere other than in my car.
As for the room, the bed was comfortable and it was still quite nice even if very dark. On the other hand, we saw a small dead worm in a corner of the room, we realized after three nights, and we also wanted to observe, that the room was not completely cleaned because it was still there when we left.
For the rest, if you plan to sleep in the morning, this is not the place! It's very noisy since the rooms overlook the corridors.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the outdoor swimming pool is nice because it is quite large.
In short, a decent hotel but not up to the standard of its service and disappointed by the friendliness of the staff.
The advantages of the hotel:
- Location in the city center.
- Voucher for a free drink if a drink is taken.
- Outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel's disadvantages:
- No breakfast at the hotel.
- Room lacking light.
- Noisy rooms because they are on the corridors.
- Room cleaning leaving something to be desired. (See Photo)
- Staff and mainly the valets, not friendly especially with strangers.
- Lack of empathy from staff.
- Shower without pressure.
Food and drinks: No breakfast included
Noteworthy details: Valet and parking at the hotel at $45 per night excluding taxes.

Nice hotel in 5 buildings in the heart of things. Friendly and helpful staff. The onsite breakfast/lunch spot, French Toast, should be sampled even if staying elsewhere. Small, cozy bar, The Icehouse, is also good.

We stayed in this hotel before and after a cruise. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave great advice on where to eat and what to do. The hotel was within walking distance of much of what we wanted to experience. Rooms were being renovated in part of the hotel, but we were placed in a renovated room. It was beautifully furnished. The 11/12 foot ceilings in the historically rich building were impressive. The bartenders were fabulous. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit NOLA.

Building 5, second floor with a balcony over Decatur. Great location. Sit on the balcony and listen to live music from the French colonnade, have a drink and people watch. I can't imagine a better spot.
Walkability: A few blocks from Frenchman's road, Bourbon Street and Jackson Square.
