“I LOVED the French Market Inn. I have heard quite a few things about this place and they all lived up to the hype. I went during Halloween and was in the perfect location to walk right outside my hotel and watch the Krewe of Boo parade. It was very clean and perfectly located; the STAFF made me give it 5 stars. We arrived earlier than expected and the staff did not hesitate to jump in and help me with a smile. They had my room ready and clean so quickly and gave me many recommendations. Love the ladies at the front desk. They are awesome.”

“STUNNING luxury hotel! Harpist playing in the lobby on a Friday morning. The ladies room in the lobby has a complete restroom inside the individual stall; toilet with seat covers, a SINK with an individual liquid soap dispenser, and an abundance of cloth hand towels! How lovely!!! This is across from Canal street, away from the French Quarter, and the majority of tourists. A very quiet area.”

“This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. The service across the board was amazing. The bellman greeted us by name with a smile every day. I was thrilled to learn that this is still a family owned business. It shows in so many ways.

I’ve stayed in New Orleans many, many times and this is the first time I have felt like the hotel was a true highlight of the trip. Thank you Hotel Monteleone!”

“It was truly incredible to sleep in a place with a century of history. Formerly a patrol post with its prison, it is now a boutique hotel tour comfort. We love the details added to the decoration, the nods to his prison past but above all the hospitality of Todd, who made our stay exceptional! I recommend 1000 times!Rooms: The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated while keeping their historic appearance with the stone walls.Safety: We were 3 women and we felt very comfortable in this area. We didn't have a car but it was very easy to walk and take the bus.Noteworthy details: A rooftop terrace allows you to enjoy the outdoors! We also have access to a full kitchen and a living room area. We feel like home!”

“I was a guest for 6 days for work. Andrew and Ricky were amazing! Best service, cool rooms and delicious libations. The staff were very friendly the concierge was delightful (older gentleman, I can't remember his name!) I would recommend the hotel and the bar, to anyone visiting NOLA.”

“What a fantastic little spot this is!Right on the edge of the French Quarter and walking distance to everywhere. The hotel is beautifully maintained with its own museum and lovely, spacious, quiet rooms. We had read about Gregory on the front desk in several reviews and were absolutely delighted to find him at the desk when we arrived. He was every bit as helpful as everyone says... told us all about the hotel and the local area, and gave us a number of restaurant recommendations, which were great. We couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. Absolutely superb!”

“The room was spacious with everything that we needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Laundry is on 1st floor near pool, morning coffee on 2nd floor. We didn't use our vehicle at all during our stay. We used the public transportation system, "le pass," and there is an app to help you get to each trolley or bus. The location was for everything our family wanted to do, but we just didn't have enough time to see it all, so we will be back, and we will stay at Club Wyndham again!

Nearby activities: We visited the French Market for some shopping. We explored the graveyards and found a couple famous names among the tombs. We went to the Mardi Gras experience and got to tour the warehouse and see how they build the floats for the parades. We went on the Evening dinner cruise up the River an the famous Natchez steam boat. The food was amazing and the sites were beautiful.”

“The Hotel St. Marie was the perfect hotel for my husband and I when we visited New Orleans last week. It was so close to Bourbon Street that we could walk in just a minute when we wanted to, but still feel completely separate when on our balcony overlooking the hotel’s peaceful courtyard. The rooms were nice, clean, and the air conditioning and water pressure/temperature worked great, and the amenities on site were extremely convenient. But most importantly, the staff were so kind, considerate, and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

“Cool bar and restaurant in this fabulous hotel. We asked the manager for a quick tour, and we were delighted with the experience... Very cool to see an inside glimpse of the private patio for hotel guests, and unique features in each boutique room... So much to explore next time!”

“Stayed one night. Nice hotel and great location. We had a 2nd floor balcony and we loved that we could hear the street action and live music from our room. Room was spacious and comfy. They do need to tend to the balcony floor - the wood decking has seen better days, but I would still stay in the exact room again.”

“The hotel is well situated and the rooms are very charming. The breakfast was a good simple continental breakfast. Generally, I would recommend this hotel. But I would keep in mind a few things.First, yes parking is included. However, when it is full, you have to park a block away in the hospital parking where there is no gate like at the hotel. We also had issues with the toilet, even after a staff member came to fix it. The staff at the front desk could definitely be friendlier (the cleaning staff was lovely). A nice, personable staff would have made a huge difference in the experience.”

“This place encapsulates everything great about New Orleans: beautiful architecture, welcoming atmosphere and exceptionally good social! Although it's a little far from the french quarter, the tram is only $3 for a day ticket and runs frequently from the bottom of the street to the city centre. I can't wait to return!”

“The Eliza Jane hotel in New Orleans is a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations! The ambiance is both atmospheric and stylish, with remarkable attention to detail in every corner. The ground floor offers various spaces for relaxation or productivity, including cozy seating areas and a well-equipped workspace for those needing to bring a laptop. An inviting outdoor terrace with ample seating further enhances the experience. Additionally, the hotel’s connection to a restaurant that opens early makes it convenient for guests. The Eliza Jane perfectly combines charm, comfort, and functionality—a standout choice in New Orleans!

Rooms: The rooms at The Eliza Jane are compact and lack windows, which, paired with dim lighting fixtures, can make the space feel a bit enclosed. However, the stylish decor and cleanliness are impeccable, giving each room a cozy, well-curated feel. While it may not be the best choice for those who prefer natural light, the hotel’s ambiance and thoughtful design make up for it, creating a unique and intimate atmosphere.”

“My husband and I booked 6 nights at One 11. We had the most amazing time that we are, less than a week later planning our return visit! It was more than a great experience! Starting with the staff who were all friendly and welcoming to the beautiful building and decor. The history of the building is incredible, don't skip the booklet! The view was breathtaking both from the room and the terrace. The area is notoriously noisy but we both slept beautifully. We were not disturbed by noise and the bed was so comfortable! The bar and restaurant were a perfect compliment to the hotel, but the best, the absolute best was Melissa, her suggestions were spot on and when coming back from a day of walking around the city to her "fresh squeezed " lemonade really made me feel absolutely pampered! Luxury at it's finest!Rooms: Gorgeous, comfortable bed, luxury linen, great shower!Nearby activities: The aquarium is almost across the street, don't miss it. The trolley stops are so close that anything you want to do is easily accessible.Safety: Key card access after dark, secure elevators, 24 hour front desk, or at least every time we were there. It seemed like a pretty safe area.Walkability: You can walk to all the hot spots of the French Quarter but if you get tired there are several different trolly stops about a block away. Bring your walking shoes!Food & drinks: Delicious cocktails, good beer selection, continental breakfast was a nice light option to the heavy meals of the French Quarter, "small plates" are not so small, my Caesar salad was a full meal! Gary and Melissa are wonderful!Noteworthy details: Take someone you love or the magic of it all just might make you fall in love with the next person you see!”

Nearby activities: Food, sightseeing activities and entertainment in walking distance or Uber/LYFT.

Safety: Secure

Walkability: Walking distance to quarter or even Superdome.

Food & drinks: Hotel bar drinks excellent but should be at those prices.”
