No words can describe my stay here. Front desk staff is amazing. I will stay at this hotel merely just for the front desk staff. They are helping, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, go the extra mile for guest. The manager is on it always helping staff, always helping guests, stops what he is doing to help and answer questions. Hotel very clean ,safe, and great location, yes my room smaller but OMG staff makes it worthwhile Alicia, Jada, and the total front desk are amazing.. Close to everything!!! Loved it

Had a great 3 night stay at Hotel Indigo New Orleans. The rooms are small, but well appointed with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the ac got cold, which was appreciated even in December. The front desk staff were so nice and welcoming each time we saw them. The ladies we spoke with were all personable and I felt they genuinely wanted to make it the best stay possible for us. The location is perfect- one block off Canal so you’re close enough to walk most of the French Quarter but far enough away from the noise and hustle & bustle. Would absolutely stay again. The staff made that an easy decision!

Understaffed and overwhelmed. Great location, not nearly as nice as the old one in the garden district. Rooms very small but clean and comfortable. Never got the call that our room was ready, and then the front desk checked us into the room our daughters were already checked into. Gave us free breakfast vouchers only to have 3 choices or the buffet. Woke up to no hot water. Valet took forever to pick up and or bring back our cars.

1/10!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE
Upon arrival, once checked in, we headed to our room. The room was unacceptably not sanitary. There were unclean wash clothes left on the bathroom sink, the bedding was NOT clean or changed, and there were no clean wash cloths. You can see with the naked eye that the bedding was not clean, and how can one shower with NO clean wash cloths?
My finance called down to at least receive CLEAN bedding and wash cloths. We waited over 45mins, the bedding/wash cloth were NEVER delivered. Therefore, my fiancé had to physically go down stairs to receive those items. While down stairs we inquired about changing rooms. The front desk apprised us that they were unable to accommodate our request to change rooms because we booked via Expedia (third party) . Therefore, my fiancé was compelled to physically CHANGE the dirty bedding. Totally unacceptable! We have traveled very far, for hours, only to receive such abominable service.
Rooms: The room was unacceptably not sanitary. There were unclean wash clothes left on the bathroom sink, the bedding was NOT clean or changed, and there were no clean wash cloths. You can see with the naked eye that the bedding was not clean!
Room is small, bathroom even smaller. You cannot do a full spin around in the bathroom with your arms wide. The shower is located directly behind the door which means you cannot enter or exit the shower UNLESS the door is completely closed. Horrible design

Rooms are extremely small. But perfect for solo travellers. The day we checked in they were having issues with the elevator due to the building being older. The next morning, there was no breakfast buffet, due to there being a new chef. Also some of the rooms don't heat or cool properly. We had a room that stayed at 75 degrees the entire stay even when we had the air on the lowest setting of 65 blowing on high. Luckily it wasn't to hot during December when we visited. I was even told by a staff member that they would not recommend staying here. Overall I am very disappointed, with the overall hotel quality itself. Staff is great, rooms are clean, beds are comfy but they are small, inconsistent w/ heating/cooling and water temp and it can also be noisey if you have a street facing room which we did w/ a balcony.

3 different problems while we were here-
Problem 1: ac units need to manually be switched from heat to cool by maintenance apparently.. they sent a maintenance man quickly to fix that..
However, if we got cold we would have to call maintenance back to switch the heat back on.. super annoying
Problem 2: The hot water never worked properly.. it would get warm but that’s it. The water wouldn’t get hot and you’d get cold standing in the shower.
They sent another maintenance man for that but he said it was working … it was not.
Problem 3: Our room had a constant screech like a dog whistle the entire 3 days we stayed here. We mentioned it on the 2nd day and we were told they’d send maintenance but they never did..
Beds and location are good but that’s it..

I can hear nearly every word the rooms on each side of me are talking about. The doors slam all over this place.
Can't get any sleep due to the noise.

Staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the casino and Bourbon St. The balcony view was wonderful.
Rooms: Spacious
Nearby activities: Casino and Bourbon St.
Walkability: Walking distance to everything we wanted to visit.
Food and drinks: The breakfast was fresh and delicious.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best in quite a while.
The room was an inside room with a fake window. The room was the smallest room I ever had. The desk chair was so uncomfortable. It’s the right size for a 10 year old child.
All in all, this was pretty bad for an IHG property.
Rooms: The room was an inside room with a fake window. The room was the smallest room I ever had. Terrible!

Was extremely disappointed with my trip here. My flight was delayed so I didn't arrive on time (24hours late), prior to arriving I called to ensure my room was still held and that I would be fine to check in the next day (Tuesday Nov 5th)
Walked into the lobby and was greeted, I said I was here to check in and the lady told me there are no rooms ready, without even asking my name or reservation number. I had to clarify with her that my room should be ready as I confirmed the prior day that I would be fine to check in. She finally looked up my name and told me my room was ready. My wife and I were booked for a tour right away so just headed to our room, changed and then left for 6-7 hours. Once we got back to the hotel we were looking forward to having a hot shower...there was no hot water. I was told the boiler system had just been replaced and the hot water is probably cirbulating through the pipes, no problem, I can wait. An hour later I decided to take a shower...no hot water. I went downstairs to ask them when it would be fixed and they mentioned that there wasn't an issue anymore but they will have engineering look into it. I asked them to call me when it was confirmed fixed, I didn't receive a call for the rest of the night and ended up just taking a cold shower as we were exhausted. Woke up the next day expecting the hot water to be fixed, still no hot water. Had a maid that was on our floor come and verify if the other rooms were the same and she confirmed that something is wrong. My wife and I left for the day and were told engineering will go into our room and get it fixed. We came back around 10 hours later to...no hot water still. I went back down to the lobby to complain and they said they would send engineering, I told them they were supposed to look into it while I had been gone for the last 10 hours. I saw a gentleman in one of the Admin rooms and let him know the isses we had been having over the last 48hours as well as the concierge from IHG who was checking in on how our stay was. We finally got moved to another room and were comped one night. The new room was great, was looking forward to finally having a hot shower and guess what? the water was tepid at best, no worries of steaming up the mirror as the water got cold after 5 minutes. The only hot shower I had was the evening before we left (5 days later), this is completely unacceptable. When I complained multiple times about the water I was made to feel like it was a me issue and not the hotel's issue. Will never stay here again and will not recommend anyone to stay here. It was also our 25 year anniversary...

Honestly super disappointed.
My car was parked with valet and came back damaged that evening with a broken windshield.
The supervisor Brittany said that she was going to review the footage, and never returned my calls.
The hotel was great but I wouldn’t trust the valet parking. Super upset with the hotel for not making things right..

We came here after a bad experience at another hotel during our trip. The overnight manager and Keara were very helpful and kind. Alesha at the front desk was also very kind and professional. We had an interior room and it was teeee-niny, but clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be more perfect and central. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayer here for 3 nights. Carolyn at the front desk was super nice and gave us great tips on what to see and do. The hotel is in a great spot to see the French Quarter. Would definitely stay again. Clean rooms and pretty good pricing!
Rooms: Clean and well priced.
Walkability: Close to everything in the FQ.

Possibly the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. I would have rather stayed in a $60 super 8 than this. Online price was $120 a night but because I reserved in advance I got charged $220 a night for a room without windows, no hot water, and 85 degree heat. When confronting the front desk about these issues, no compensation or change in rooms was offered. Location was also a bit sketchy at night. Almost a thousand dollars wasted and I’d rather have slept in my car. Never again
