Beds were comfortable, goes downhill from there. LOTS of passive aggressive signs everywhere. Staff was as well.
First room the picture on the wall was broken with glass on the floor and the broken frame side sticking off the wall over the bed and the room was moldy smelling. Asked front end manager for a different room, got a look of indigestion. New room was clean and neat looking, but has moldy smell too.
Apparently didn't return luggage cart fast enough, housekeeper (I think) knocked on door and said front desk called and told her to tell me that I could return the cart at anytime.
Hallways everywhere are foggy with an automatic air freshener that are about every 20 feet. They smell like the flowery carpet powder. Rooms smell musty/moldy (explains air fresheners every 20 feet.
Dining area has cockroaches crawling on ceiling (see picture).
Also, hotel is directly under final apprach for MSY, so be prepared for airliners to pass about 150' above the hotel, not too bad if you have kids and like planes, but with 5 mile separations, plan on frequent noise/vibrations.
Rooms: Nice sized, comfortable beds, musty/moldy smelling rooms.

Over night lobby clerk very rude and impatient. Especially when calling in reservations. I would not recommend. If you don't like your job change industries!

Modest accommodations with an airport shuttle. They let me check in early when I had no where to go. Will always be where I stay the night before flying out of New Orleans (Kenner).

The hotel and service are really good. The only thing bothering me at night was the sound of airplanes and the noise of AC from the room above. This information is for sensitive sleepers. Breakfast was great.

A bit dated but close to airport and highway. Room had random stains on floor, walls and shower. Close to a dead mall and theres a Target anchored to it nearby but probably not for much longer. Front desk staff are very nice. Breakfast selections are very sparse.

Nice stay except for The Loud Family that had their kids running the hallway shouting at one another until midnight, and another occupant blaring his tv all night. Unpleasant.

First off… walking into the hotel was the best smell… period! Smelled so clean and pleasant, not over powering! Then I had the pleasure of being greeted by Trinity at the front desk to check us in. Trinity is the best Ambassador for the Holiday Inn brand. She was incredibly polite, and very professional. A true asset.
The room was extremely clean and and smelled just like the rest of the hotel.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

My experience was above and beyond my expectations. This was a personal business trip, and at the days end I welcomed the bed and location of my room. Another feature that was an extra bonus was the breakfast every morning. My visit here is coming to an end. However, I will utilize this hotel during my next visit.

Rooms: The room was roomy and clean.
Safety: I felt safe with the posting of the security cameras.
Walkability: The room was close enough to the elevator, but I did not hear foot traffic from other guest are staff.
Food and drinks: The continental breakfast was good.

Service is meh; Room was GREAT except carpet needs cleaning. Pool is closed for the season & the airport shuttle is not available. Continental breakfast was on point, laundry room was nice, gym was good, but had 1 treadmill still in box. EXCELLENT location. I walked to Target, Walmart, some really good restaurants and was able to take the city bus to the post office, airport & other venues with no problem. I didn't see any issues that caused me to feel unsafe. I will stay here again in the future & highly recommend this as a budget hotel.

Very clean hotel, near the airport and the freeway. Friendly staff and I got a pretty good rate. Beds were super comfortable and the room was nice.

We booked a king room, and we got our king room, but unfortunately, it was right next door to a family with young children that were bouncing off the walls and screaming that you could hear down the entire floor so we moved and got put into a double queen room. Honestly everything was nice just the beds were hard and not comfortable to my personal liking. But rooms are clean and nice staff was awesome the amenities were great got use of the out-door pool and we are close to the airport and the planes flying low right over top but the hotel is quiet and don't hear the planes.

Stinky rooms, AC was leaking and the room was smelly. Had to fight with the receptionist to change my room. Both the girls I spoke to in my 2 day trip were grumpy / no smile , looked like they were not happy to be there. Not happy with their service at all! Next visit will go to to the other holiday inn which is much cleaner and friendly receptionist!
Rooms: The first room was stinky as water was leaking from the carpet. Had to fight with the grumpy girl at the desk to change my room which she refused at first
