I’m so happy to be adding my 5 start review of Hinge Salon! Just received a haircut from Rachel, I have never been so happy with a cut. With the true master talents of Rachel or Billy, you will never have anything less then an exceptional cut that is entirely you. Rachel asked numerous questions about every possibility of what I’d want in a hairstyle & she delivered above & beyond. Enjoyed every minute of my appointment & am so happy I’ve found such a beautiful place.Service: Haircut

I finally found my hair salon in Nola. I was nervous because I had been growing out a truly terrible curly haircut. After 8 months of waiting for one, would this be another "hide and wait" type cut? I am relieved to say no no a thousand times no because yes yes a thousand times yes this salon is as good as the reviews indicate and yes Rachel can do curls. Billy was really friendly too and the place it stunning. Right on Magazine. Go. Just go go go. You have found your next hairstylist. Actually Rachel is more of a hair artist. ps/ Rachel is super friendly and approachable to boot. 10 stars!Services: Hair coloring

I just relocated to New Orleans from New York City a few weeks ago. Having spent more then 25 years in New York with the same hair stylist, I was anxious about finding a new one here in NOLA. I asked my guy in NY for a recommendation and he referred me to Billy Miller at HINGE on Magazine Street. I was able to get an appointment, and it was an AWESOME experience. What a talented stylist! I was SO impressed with Billy’s skills, approach and professionalism. I have found my new stylist in the Big Easy. Billy is truly a classically trained pro. His skill sets are top notch and world class In addition the salon is a joy to be in and he is a very nice guy. I HIGHLY recommend Billy at Hinge if you are looking for a super star stylist.Service: Hairstyling

I’ve been disappointed by so many other salons in my lifetime that I just stopped going to a professional for my hair. There was at least a solid 10 years of DIY hair cuts and color in which 96 percent of my own work (I have no training) wasn’t what I intended to do.When I first got my hair colored and cut by Rachel I was stunned. I felt gorgeous! And it lasted so well that I was amazed at how long I went without going in again. Then after my next appointment it looked and felt amazing again! I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s been almost 3 years now and I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else.She’s a real artist! Rachel has been cutting/coloring my hair for almost a decade, and I have yet to be disappointed. Not only is she a great friend, but she is the most talented hairstylist to ever touch my hair. Hinge Salon co-owner Rachel has been doing my hair for almost ten years. I am constantly complimented on my hair and I know that is a testament to her skills. As a hair dresser, her clients include professionals and artists-she has the ability to do sleek, classic styles and more edgy fare as well.
