Shontria is fantastic! Great customer service and we appreciate all her hospitality and kindness. Also, I had the genuine pleasure of meeting the manager, Sabrina. She helped ensure that I received my Hilton diamond honors member benefits and could not have been any nicer! She was so wonderful!! These ladies have sincerely made our stay AMAZING!!

Our favorite go to when we're in Nola. GREG, the bartender is AWESOME & is like a concierge with his recommendations. Look forward to our next visit.
Walkability: Short walk to Canal st for restaurants and then Bourbon st

Turned off water to my shower at 9:00AM on a Sunday morning to do work, while I was in the shower with soap in my hair. I had to stand there with soap in my eyes for roughly 20 minutes. Went down to front desk and spoke about issue with manager Tiffany Bocanegra who apologize profusely and told me if I registered for Hilton Honors right there on the spot she would not only get me point for that very stay but she would also manually add points for me as an apology. NEVER RECIEVED POINT. Tiffany now just ignores my email. I call the location to speak with another manager and am told there is nothing they can do and they cant give me any points. GIVE ME MY POINT I WAS TOLD I WAS GETTING AND ILL DELETE THIS REVIEW.

They will cancel your reservation last minute due to their error in managing their own inventory. Unlike other hotels that will offer to assist in finding other accommodations, the staff here just told us to call Hilton customer service. The fact that we are Dimond members made no difference.

Hilton should be embarrassed to put their brand on this property, or at least the room we had, 1618. The furniture looked like it came out of a frat house. Not much effort in the decor. Would we stay here again? No.

Great location however customer service is terrible. The Internet lags constantly, they charged me for late check out even though it was supposed to be included in my rate. I also was supposed to receive a 25$ per day on site credit that they said they don't do. The floors in the room are disgusting! I walked around with white socks on for a couple hours and my feet were black. I attached a picture of their false advertisement through booking. I do not recommend this property. Also, it's supposed to be a $50 security deposit, they charged $50 per night.
Rooms: Dirty.
Nearby activities: Bourbon is 3 blocks away.
Safety: Felt safe except when room service kept coming in our room even with the dnd
Walkability: Close to everything

Rate updated: Service 1 to 3
I checked again in the morning, and there was a different lady (looks like manager, and very friendly) so I asked her again. She said I can take two bottles of water (becauae I stayed with my partner) to accommodate the situation.
Yet I must say the quality of service surely depends on the staff.
------
Even they say it is oversold there were only one person at the front desk and it naturally caused a long line when we checked in after 4pm. I should have free bottles of water with my membership status, but the impolite lady at the front desk said the track hasn't been arrived so there is no in-house water.
Seriously? They have a kiosk just right beside their desk, which has good amount of bevarages. If it is oversold, it won't be so difficult to estimate the number of stocks they need to prepare for distribution.
Location itself is convenient and room is spacious, but the quality of their service is way cheap. Sadly.

My stay was not what I was expecting. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, however there was a weird smell and the room needs to be updated. Breakfast and dinner was expensive but the food was good. Security was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a good location. If you are a light sleeper, I suggest getting a room far away from the elevator. Bed was not comfortable and it was very squeaky. The business center is just a printer no computer. Front desk clerks were not as helpful as I felt they should have been. Had an issue on the first day, management didn't seem real interested in helping. She didn't come out of the office and I was told I needed to email the manager or I can get with her on the next morning because she was leaving by 4:30pm which was only 20 minutes away. Luckily, I was able to reach out to my 3rd party planner to resolve my issue as I was almost charged double because nobody seemed to care. I felt like I was being brushed off. 2nd day, no coffee or water was available in main lobby due to late deliveries. They didn't have any accommodations but you had to wait for house keeping to come in to get water. Never got the water. Last day, I was not able to electronically check out. System was down so no receipt. As of today still no receipt. In my opinion, for the cost to stay, service should have been a lot better.
Safety: Felt like a safe environment.

Stayed 5 nights. The room was cool. The bed was not very comfortable, but it was OK at the price point. The live tv did not work. There were lots of random people sitting outside on the curb in the evenings. Walking distance to the Superdome, Riverwalk, Bourbon/Canal & the French Quarter.
Nearby activities: Superdome, Riverwalk/Mississippi River, Bourbon/Canal Streets, the French Quarter, Sazerac Headquarters, Caesars Casino,
Walkability: New Orleans is a mostly flat, very walkable city. The hotel is situated near all the attractions. Great, expansive bar scene!
Food and drinks: The hotel has a restaurant, bar & room service.
