Staff is friendly, rooms are nice, convenient walking to most places, especially the WWII Museum!, but the elevator is very loud even when you're in your room.

This was a super convenient place to stay for a conference! I could see the convention center across the street from my window and it was a two minute walk. The room was clean and relatively newly renovated. The only thing that drives me nuts is how hotels now use sheets to wrap around a comforter and it always comes undone. The coffee downstairs in the morning was a nice touch! We shipped several packages to the hotel and the people at the front desk were super nice about looking for all of our boxes when we thought they were missing. We appreciated the help.

Walkability: Proximity to the Convention Center makes it easy to go back and forth, although it’s a walk to get to the French Quarter and such.

When I got there to check in I found out they over booked us and was forced to go to a different hotel. Will never book again. The front desk guy seemed like he didn’t want to be there.

If you are coming to the convention center, this is a quick walk. Stayed here for 4 nights, pricey when if it's far from the touristic French quarter. My problem with it.. My last night there was very loud music across the street. I call the desk, the gentleman said it was filming going on. It was 10:30 at night, I asked how long does this go on and I asked if the hotel would call in a noise complaint as it was disturbing the peace of the guests. He basically said it was not his problem and hung up on me.. Really is this service when there employee can't even have a conversation with a guest. I debated going down to confront him but thought that was a moot point. So I downgrade the hotel not so much for the noise but mostly for the horrible attitude.Walkability: Walkable to lots of good restaurants, Riverside shops and the convention center.

Sadly, the room's AC didn't work. It was very warm inside the room. We were there during Mardi Gras (not to be confused with "for Mardi Gras"), and the hotel was very busy. The AC was the only complaint. We ate two meals down in the restaurant, and we enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I have stayed there before, and we enjoyed it thoroughly the first time. The room this time was clean and spacious. It had a walk-in shower. The water was nice and warm (scalding hot for mine). We will probably be back again to try once more.

Great spot, great staff. Breakfast was the best of any garden I've ever stayed at!

The heavy shower glass door fell on me and hurt my shoulder. I immediately called the front desk for help, and nobody picked up. I called at least 8 times. I had to get myself together and walk to the lobby to report the incident in person. There were no accommodations provided for my pain and suffering other than we'll have maintenance fix the door.

Had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. The lady and gentleman at the check-in desk were very nice friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. The lobby was nicely decorated for Mardi Gras. Check out was fast and easy. Great location walking distance to the Port of New Orleans. I would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Nice, clean, and quietNearby activities: Near convention center, Riverwalk, casino, shopping, restaurants and cruise terminal.Walkability: So much is in walking distance food , shopping, and activitiesFood & drinks: Not far from Bourbon street

The hotel is not bad, but the worst thing is the receptionist who forced me to call the other side of the Atlanticon because his ineptitude meant that I could not find the reservation that in the end was correct but his bad work implied an undue extra expense for his bad work. Please instruct your staff on how to work and not to disturb the customer.Rooms: The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable.

This is a perfect location if you have an event at the New Orleans Convention Center! The hotel is one block away from the site. The area is lovely, filled with art galleries, unique restaurants, and it’s a simple stroll to the Riverwalk, too.Rooms: They’re spacious. 2-queen room had microwave, fridge, and coffee maker in a little cove. Huge closet space.Walkability: Excellent!Food & drinks: Bar and restaurant had limited hours - maybe because it was Mardi Gras? Breakfast buffet delicious but pricey. Bar’s a fun place to have a drink and watch a ballgame.
