8422 Burthe St, New Orleans“CrossFit Nola Downtown has a large wide open facility with lots of room to spread out. It’s clean and has a positive atmosphere. My instructor Mike could not have been more welcoming or more encouraging. I really appreciated their attention to detail, making sure that I understood the workout details and cheering me on along the way. Glad to have found NOLA CrossFit.”

4900 Canal St, New Orleans“Signing up through my health insurance was a breeze. I came back the next day for an introductory session with David and he was great. He provided some tips on my form and showed me a few exercises that align with my fitness goals. He took time to show me how to properly use machines I was interested in using. He was even nice when I misremembered his name ☺️”

1615 Poydras St suite 350, New Orleans“I was a member for 2 years this is my honest overall review. They have 2 locations, one on saint charles and one in front of the superdome. I love the egym system, it really saves you a lot of time and tracks your workouts. love how hygienic it is, the ladies room always has anything you could possibly need as a lady. The owners are very friendly and are almost always there. Overall I did love how exclusive and luxury the gym feels.”
“I have been scared of the gym forever, and was terrified to start at this place. After...2ish weeks I felt so comfortable and at home at this place. It's kind of weird actually. I suck at working out, but really love it, and none of the coaches here EVER made me feel dumb for sucking. Not only the coaches, but the other people in the classes are helpful and SO encouraging. Also, the workouts are so diverse that its pretty fun to see what you're going to be doing from day to day. (or every other day in my case)Highly suggest checking it out if you're scared of gyms.”
“Thrived in the 5:30p class with Coach Shannon! She motivated, inspired, and kept me on target with reasonable goals. Coach Shannon does a great job helping with form to ensure everyone is safe. The front desk associate is super friendly and kind. I felt inspired to take back-to-back classes just because the atmosphere the staff created was so welcoming and inviting for an out-of-town guest. Plenty of free parking!”
“The most outstanding thing about Iron Tribe are the Coaches, their ability to teach, interact, and encourage athletes to give the best and more of each one. Every day at the gym is a roller coaster full of challenges and satisfaction.”

8350 Earhart Blvd, New Orleans“It's an awesome no-frills gym for an unbeatable price. I used to go here when I lived nearby and hired a personal trainer (Coach Los and Tatyana - I think they may have moved since). It was the first time I learned how to use all of the machines, lift weights properly, and target specific areas. They even placed me in a small group for training when money was running tight. Everyone knew my name and gave me a warm welcome when I walked in. Coach Los and Tatyana truly changed my life by teaching me how to work out. My entire body changed and at first, I got extremely nervous because I got so muscular that my old clothes didn't fit anymore! But they talked me through it and explained that I was gainly much needed muscle and that gaining weight in my case was not a bad thing. I am so strong now and continue to use the techniques I learned from them when I lift. When I take flights and see someone struggling to get their luggage in the overhead, I just grab it and throw it up for them like I'm the Hulk!!!! : )”

1016 N Broad St, New Orleans“I did a drop in class with my friend Devin while visiting during my spring break. I had a BLAST. I have never done any form of MMA and would not describe myself as the least bit athletic. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The instructor was Ryan and he is phenomenal. He explains and demonstrates things very well in addition to being encouraging and giving excellent feedback (I’m an expert at knowing when people do these things well as I am a high school math/special education teacher ?).I highly recommend this gym. I had a great time and felt so empowered after the class.”

2600 Gravier St, New Orleans“Love this place! Just joined last week after walking by a hundred times, and I’m very glad that I did. Jake and Bridget, the owners, are super friendly and helpful, the place has a very welcoming feel to it, the natural lighting is awesome, I’ve never had to wait for a machine, locker room is sparkling clean, just overall pretty awesome. The best gym I’ve ever belonged to, by far. You’ll love it too!”

“So far I love this gym. I like that is very diverse, everyone is nice, the gym is clean! which is a must to me and i dont get weird looks for not knowing certain exercises. I might be doing it wrong for now but I am learning. Ohh and the music is not too loud which i very much appreciate!! I can actually concentrate. “I shared this with the coach but thought it was relevant for parents considering Jiu jitsu. I was a little nervous when we signed my son up for jujitsu. I didn’t know if he would be ready with his autism diagnosis at 6 years old. I must say from the first class it has done this momma’s heart good. The fact that he sits and listens. That he is doing something with his peers that treat him the same. He is growing a Jiu jitsu and Westmore is promoting his growth When belt promotions recently occurred coach Manny told the kids they’re family and all the coaches love them and will always be there for them.My son listens to manny during his matches and looks at him like a true role model. The fact that he looked at you and listened was awesome! I love what this sport is teaching our son about life!I never thought I’d be a mom with a gym mat in my family room but that’s mom’s only rule. No jujitsu unless you’re on the mat!Try Westmore for your kids. Just might be the best decision you ever made”

4834 Pitt St, New Orleans“Uptown Fitness is a great gym. They were super chill about the membership end of things and handled signing up/cancelling when I left town perfectly and with no hassle. The gym itself is clean and has enough weights and machines to do a really great workout. It also has enough free space to move around, do a pushup, etc, and isn't just crammed full of machines. Everyone I met there is very friendly and made me feel comfortable even as I was learning how to do the basics. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone staying uptown.”

“I've been a member of SimplyFit Gym for about ten months now and it's been such a positive experience from day one. The owners, Hudson and Billy, are there often training people and they are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whether you need guidance on your form, advice on different workouts to try, or just a boost of motivation - they're there to help. Their passion for fitness shows and they help to create a motivating and inclusive atmosphere. The gym itself is always clean. There are fresh towels always available and the women's locker room is spotless and well-stocked with toiletries. SimplyFit has a variety of machines that are well-maintained and they cater to all fitness levels. I never feel like I have to wait for a machine to open up either. It's also open 24/7, which is super helpful for my busy work schedule. If you're looking for a gym with approachable owners, a clean environment, well-kept machines, and round-the-clock access, Simply Fit is the place to be. “This has been our gym for quite a while and I must say that .. it has finally been renovated and it looks fantastic! We have a really good gym family here and Arthur is a great manager. Come by and check it out if you haven't yet!”
“Wow, wow, wow! I came to New Orleans for Mardi Gras festivities, but it was the classes at Romney that have me already thinking about a trip back to NOLA. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I had never taken a megareformer or bosu class before, so had no clue what I was doing. Each instructor made me feel right at home. I took 5 classes with 3 different instructors and each one was a challenging workout. I have never been to a fitness studio that offered such a variety of specialty classes under one roof/membership. I can't find anything like it in Chicago. I live too far away to have a gym membership here, but have already signed up for their virtual classes. I HIGHLY recommend this place.”

4439 St Louis St, New Orleans“I started with Susan well over 10 years. When I started with Susan I was thin and since I always did some form of exercise I thought I was great shape.. Lol, I was not! Susan taught me that Pilates would not only make me stronger and define my muscles but literally change my body. In a short few months I was stronger, toned, and in amazing shape. She is so knowledgeable, kind and a lot of fun.I totally endorse her.”

I have taken over 900 classes over the past 7 years, and it has never gotten easier. I continue to find new ways to challenge myself mentally and physically. The energy is incredible, the instructors are educated, and the community is motivating. One of the features I love most is the variety of classes offered, meaning it’s a one stop shop - no additional gym membership necessary! Cannot say enough about how special The Barre Code is!”

5590 Canal Blvd, New Orleans“I come here a lot with my ClassPass membership and I really love it! The classes are small and the workouts are so good. J is usually the coach I work with and he is great. He demonstrates the workouts thoroughly and pays attention during class so he can make corrections and adjustments. I almost don't want to do a review because I don't want more people taking up the spots but this gym really deserves it lol”
“Awesome gym with awesome people. The workouts are a good mix of cardio and strength, but if you prefer one over the other, you can pick and choose the days you go. Also, shout out to the best trainer, Abby, for setting up the Tasc/ Urban South/ Gambino’s crossover event!”
