We stayed just 1 day and were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded (I've never been upgraded before). I prefer to stay in boutique hotels over national brands, and this hotel is no exception. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with anything. While there is no breakfast, there is coffee available in the lobby. Everything is within walking distance. I parked my car (the cost is $45 around the corner) and forgot about it until we checked out. Will gladly stay here again.

Where to even begin - This place was more than I could have even imagined! The room (more like one bedroom apartment) was very nicely decorated and upgraded perfectly. I picked this place because I fell in love with their courtyard to have my Halloween Wedding and the photos did not do this place justice! The hotel staff Champagne and the Owner Vic were the literal best (as well as the other front desk staff)! They were so accommodating to me and my party. Champagne always greeted my guests and me with a smile and a great attitude which put my mind at ease during a time that would normally be stressful. Vic gave me free range to use the space as I envisioned and that was so great to be able to move things around as I pleased. He also texted me prior to my arrival and answered any questions I had since I had not even seen the space in person. That was super helpful to get an idea of what was needed or not needed for my big day.My mother and her husband also stayed here and their room was equally as fantastic! They had a secluded space on the other side of the pool and it was perfect for them. The apartment style room was perfect to bring back meals to make for themselves and utilize the full kitchen, which they loved. We did not utilize the pool or heated spa attached since it was 40 degrees on Halloween, but it was very well kept and other guests looked to thoroughly enjoy it! The space all-in-all was very clean and well kept!I saw others did mention the location - We visit the Quarter often and the location of this hotel cannot be beat! You are just a few blocks away from the action and shopping on Royal and Bourbon, but have the luxury of a quiet, peaceful rest at night!Thank you again Grenoble House for having us and making our wedding more than we could have ever dreamed!

My wife and I have been coming to New Orleans for many years. We've stayed at a wide range of places all over the city. The Grenoble House will always be our new home to visit when we are in New Orleans. The owner is by to check on things every day and his staff is on duty 24/7-- very attentive and helpful in every way. The rooms & suites are large, some alarmingly large. The rooms are recently remodeled but retain that old New Orleans feel, but with everything plumb & level. The courtyard is spacious with a nice small pool and always-on hot tub. No kids allowed. The location, literally, can't be beat. Parking is a snap with a secure public parking lot one block away. This place won't be the best kept secret in the French Quarter for very long.

Cool small hotel, location can’t be beat. Close enough to be on Bourbon with a block and a half walk. Far enough to sleep without hearing Bourbon Street if you need a night off.Secure, someone is always at the front desk to buzz you in after hours. Pool was too cold to use in October, but the outdoor hot tub was great for a couple people and available 24/7. Pool area is small but feels private and I thought it was much better than the pictures showed. I didn’t have a car so I can’t speak to that, no need to with this location.Such a great find!Rooms: Suite was well maintained and had nice furniture. Bed was very comfortable.Nearby activities: Super close to Bourbon Street.Walkability: Super close to Bourbon Street. A block and a half.

Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly and perfect location! Spent a long weekend for the Halloween Parade, Krewe of Boo! Stayed in a two bedroom suite that was lovely. Pool and hot tub located in the back courtyard were just right. Would definitely stay here again and will tell my friends. Thank you!

The hotel was just what we wanted. A getaway with my father-in-law and brother-in-law for the Krewe of Boo and the 2 bedroom suite provided the perfect home base. We spent the days exploring the city and when we needed to refresh the common area was perfect.Loved the charm we felt as soon as we walked in and were greeted by "Champagne" at the front desk. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the French Quarter.

Highly recommend the Grenoble House. Before booking we searched for days for the perfect hotel to fit our needs. Taxi from airport dropped us off around 9 am. Checkout isn’t until 3, but they instantly allowed us to store our luggage until check in. The Queen suite includes a living room, full kitchen (with bowls, cups and waters provided for you) and the upstairs (up a small spiral staircase) is the king bed and bathroom. We walked to a local Walgreens and got some extra drinks and snacks to store in the full size fridge. The front desk workers were all so kind each time we came through (which was often). You have to turn your key into the front desk each time you leave, but that was so helpful not having to worry about keeping up with your hotel key. If you arrive back at night, they buzz you in.The Grenoble house is within walking distance of everything, but it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Bourbon, Canal and Jackson Square are all just a few blocks or an easy walking distance from the hotel. When we had to leave, the called taxi to take us to the airport (it was waiting for us when we got to the lobby).I am a review reader when it comes to choosing hotels. Choose this place!Walkability: It’s a simple walk to all the New Orleans hot spots!

Such a charming and character filled place to stay for an authentic quarter experience! Love that I've stayed here 4 times and never seen the same room twice. Not sure I'll ever stay anywhere else when visiting the area. 20 + years of visiting the quarter and Grenoble house is the only place that's never disappointed!!!Rooms: Clean and charming! Loved the unique layouts and floor plans.Safety: It's actually really nice to know my room and the key to it are very secureWalkability: As long as you don't mind walking there is no part of the quarter you can't get to by foot from here.Noteworthy details: The courtyard pool is perfect for a midday break from all the tourists!

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this hotel! Not only see the unique architecture of New Orleans, but this place lets you actually stay in a room for a very affordable price. The room was beautiful and huge and a perfect, surprisingly quiet, escape from the humid and hot weather while exploring the French Quarter - which is just outside the front door. Overall, I very much recommend staying here to anyone wanting an easy and fun time in New Orleans/the French Quarter!Rooms: Huge! With a full kitchen if you want to cook, a dining table, a living room, and spacious closet. Could be a fantastic apartment really.Safety: Felt very safe here. The location is on the quieter street and less traffic street of the French quarter. Plus there’s a friendly front desk staff 24/7 to check anyone entering the front door!Walkability: Very walkable location. All the great sights and streets of the French quarter were less than a 10 minute walk. Plus a lot of other tourists to make you feel safe.Food & drinks: The room was stocked with water bottles and a huge coffee maker, which is very appreciated for the weather in Nola. Not much other food at the hotel itself, but the French Quarter has so many options, most less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel!Noteworthy details: Not sure about the history but everything felt pretty authentic - from the layout of the overall hotel to the antique furniture touches in the room. They also use actual room key tags and “in the European style”, have you leave your room key at the front desk every time you head out of the hotel (don’t worry, front desk was always there to let us in asap). Overall, this was a very unique (in the best way possible) experience of a hotel stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grenoble House. The location is absolutely perfect for seeing all you want to see in the French Quarter and a quick cab ride to other areas. We had a great early check-in and were not rushed out of our room the day we checked outChampagne at the front desk was super helpful, hospitable, and great to chat with every day.The room was spacious and clean and the courtyard and pool were lovely. I would definitely recommend it to others and will stay there again on our next tripRooms: Spacious, fully equipped and clean.Nearby activities: Walkable to Jackson Square, The French Market, Bourbon street, the river, the street car, many restaurants and bars.Walkability: Close to everything you'd want to see in the French Quarter

Champagne and the entire staff were amazing. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the pool in the back was amazing to combat the heat.10/10 would recommend.

Celebrated our anniversary with a lovely stay here. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Champagne. Our executive suite was so spacious and nice we could live there! Great location right in the middle of everything but so nice and quiet. The courtyard was serene with many areas to sit and relax.

Had reservations for one night @ Grenoble house for one night. I booked and paid prior to my arrival .Check in time stated 3 pm man at service desk told !e our room was being cleaned . So we waited till 4pm to inquire about our room, I ask to speak to Manager desk clerk became angry at that time I took a picture of desk clerk. The desk clerk knocks my phone out of my hand ,now I have to replace my phone. When I go to pick up my phone desk clerk pulls out a large stick and grabs me around my throat in front on my daughter in law. At that time I took my finger nails and scratched into his arm . I call 911...NOPD is a JOKE!!!! Desk clerk told cameras not work .... Camera everywhere!!!! I will NEVER visit New Orleans again !!!
