We are visiting New Orleans only for a few days but I needed to get my nails done. I found this place not far from where we were staying. I was totally impressed with the service and the results.
Cleanliness: Very clean and used sterilized tools.
Stylist: Tony was great. He took his time and the result was excellent.

9/2024 update: I am adding to my review here, as I find it interesting how some things have changed and some have not. I maintain by far the best service o am given at this location is by Shelly, she is great, but she can’t work everyday.
The issue I am now having is the process that apparently is Applied to everyone. Nails, toenails and people are not designed to fit your plan for that drill on my nails. Gel polish, Even according to the instructions by the companies who make the very brands you are applying do not recommend using a drill file as removal - and definitely not regularly. Yet, that is what you do and insist upon regardless of the health of my nails, even when asked politely I am made to feel like I am the problem. Not even the polish company would say I’m the problem.
I have left my last 4 appointments in pain because my nails are so thin due to this salons insistence and over use of a drill file. I’ve just been to nice to actually leave when it’s happening. I won’t be back. I will ad phots of my damaged nails when available!

Traveling from out of town for Essence Festival I was in desperate need of a gel mani/pedi and found Golden File. They were courteous from my interaction over the phone to book an appointment to my service. The icing on the top was I had to catch a flight home and they were efficient while providing great service. Shoutout to Tony and the ladies at the front desk! Wonderful customet service! Would highly recommend.

Do not recommend. I went here because of their good ratings but I am disappointed. I got clear gel manicure and in just 3 days it’s already chipping off. The technician also cut my cuticle, which I’m not too upset about because mistakes happen. However, after drying the polish I could see air bubbles on a few nails, which I pointed out, but they said that’s how my nail was apparently. Also my nails looked quite dull and usually clear gel is super shiny. In just 3 days the gel is already coming off. They also changed my technician without informing which was fine as it was my first time. Overall, not good imo.

Angel was absolutely precious and did an amazing job on my nails. She was so careful around a sensitive cut too. So grateful for her attention to my needs.

This was the absolute best pedicure I've ever had! It was not only beautiful, but the leg massage part was phenomenal, kind and funny staff as well! And cost far less than I thought it would!

Cayla did an amazing job on my toes and fingernails. What a treat! Wanted to add that I was asked about my nail color (called Nude Greek by the owner’s husband) two minutes after I left. Fastest compliment I’ve ever gotten!
