I'll start by saying that furniture shopping isn't what it used to be and I'm not blaming it on Covid. I'm no industry expert, but my guess it's due to the ubiquitous furniture available on the internet, without the lengthy wait on custom orders, free shipping and in many cases, no sales tax. In my opinion, there's no substitute for touching, feeling and sitting on something that will be such a big part of my life. If you agree, Georgian Furniture is one of the better local options. It's not perfect, or frankly even as good as it used to be 8-10 years ago, but its not bad. The selection is decent and the service is consistently professional. They do a good job of making you feel safe during the pandemic by masking and social distancing.
