First off Salon has a great atmosphere. It looks great, smells nice and has ZERO drama. Me and my daughters are so pleased with the outcome of their flat irons. Xienet is very sweet and professionally. She took her time taking care of my babies hair. This Salon has earned loyal customers.

First time here and service was subpar at best...had to wait 2 hrs to be seen when I called and was told to come in for a certain time. Visited the store and asked the associate on the phone a price range to do a line up, wash, and braid. I was assured both times that the person would be able to do all...so I showed up at the time she stated. When arrived I asked the particular stylist the price of a seemingly simple style (I know complexity maybe subjective) at first I was quoted $15 more than they advertised (and more than the associate quoted) then he said because I've been waiting he'll take off $15. Because I really needed it done, I said ok, then he said when he's finished he will start. I asked how long that would be he said 30mins. That 30mins turned into 1.5hrs. On top of that, aside from the $15 waiting discount, i was quoted $5 more for the "complex style" than a style with 4 braids and a design. So I opted for the seemingly complex style. Asked for a certain style and got some plain braids that weren't close to the pic I showed. Lastly, when the braiding was done the hairdresser asks me "oh you want a line up?" in my head I'm like you asked that less than 10mins ago while braiding and when you were doing the washing...anyways he proceeds to say oh I don't do line ups the barber does...very confusing and upsetting because I asked repeatedly for all those things in person and on the phone and was assured the person could do it. I do not mind someone calling their fair price and making a decision to wait and pay for it but waiting for 2hrs just to be seen, getting OVER QUOTED after waiting so long and THEN not getting services I requested by the end of the night is a little unprofessional. Since moving to NOLA, I thought this place could have become my go to place. But after being there for 2+hrs and being over quoted I will stare clearly. I would advise people who are not regulars, to do the same. On the other hand if you go when barbers and stylist have down time, you may fair a little better.. The associates were all very nice and the shop is equally nice.
