Not a real candy factory, I would say a fudge making place connected to the cafe de monde. I have been to several store looking for a place to buy a bag of mixed candy.
This store has a very, very limited selection of candy. They do have a lot of cups and sugar shakers with the cafe de monde logo. They have a small room with windows to watch some fudge being made. They have some pralines as well if your looking for those in a bag. They do have a whole case of different varieties of the best fudge. The fudge is amazing. I bought the cafe de lait fudge.
No close parking
One piece of fudge was $5
Parking: Very limited street parking. There is a paid parking lot 4 blocks away costing $32 for two hours. This is in the tourist part of the French quarter, use the paid parking lot.

I bought 2 pralines (one original & one "chewie". They were both stale. The one that was supposed to be chewy wasn't, but at least it was edible (it came wrapped in a bit of plastic). The "original" was so dry & crystalized. Presumably, it wasn't when they put it in its inner envelope since the praline was partially stuck to it. That area of it just crumbled when I tried to remove it. The rest was hard and unappetizing. I've attached a picture. So disappointing!

This (*below*) from another review 9 years ago is still how they are. Such a shame, if only they would take the time to melt the sugar completely so its not so difficult to eat. Its far too grainy and crumbles easily when it should be silky smooth and melt in your mouth. The one bonus is being part of Cafe Du Monde.*HORRIBLE! They do NOT know how to make pralines. Their creole pralines were made in a rush and were just compressed sugar crystals with hardly any cream. They couldn't even cook the sugar. It was like biting into a sugar cube. Don't waste your time or money.*

5 stars because I’ve been eating their candy since a little girl and they were like family. However, they have sold their business to Cafe du Monde instead of keeping the business in the family and the new owners never have candy online or in the store so I would give it a rating of 2 stars. I wish they would bring back the candy and be consistent with it. This by far was the best place for pralines in New Orleans!

Very tasty candy shop. I loved the variety they had. You couldn't go wrong with anything they have. We ended up taking home a whole lot of things to try and they didn't disappoint.
