The Earthbound Trading Company looks like a very interesting store. They have quite a few unique items. A lot of the products appear to be 1960’s oriented and styled. We walked around several minutes and no one made an effort to assist us so we eventually left without buying anything. They did have several items in stock that we have not seen elsewhere.

My first and LAST time at this store!!!!!!!My family and I were visiting from out of state celebrating the upcoming wedding of my niece. We spent some time shopping in the store, PURCHASED our items, and had moved on to the next store. The manager on duty, Nikki, came in to the store we were in to loudly “warn” the shop owner about a girl a customer has supposedly seen shoplifting. She said she was going to check her cameras and walked away. None of us thought anything of it.THEN….. the manager comes back with a security guard, and in front of everyone in the store, proceeds to accuse my niece of stealing!!! They even went as far as to make her empty all her belongings to prove her innocence. At this point, my niece was humiliated and in tears. In the end, the manager muttered a half hearted “sorry” and walked off.I am extremely disappointed with how this whole situation went down. The manager, Nikki, did all of this with ABSOLUTELY NO FACTUAL PROOF of any theft. She was loud, accusatory, and VERY unprofessional.I’ve worked retail for years, and it seems to me that management in this store needs to be trained on the proper and legal ways to handle SUSPECTED shoplifters.

My husband and I are from out of state visiting and we have not had the best experience while being here in New Orleans. But the staff here were so friendly and welcoming. It was so nice to have some true southern hospitality!

Very nice little hippie-esque type shop. Several really neat items. Bought a nice ashtray and a dream catcher for my wife. People were very friendly.

It’s a cool store but it’s hard to get to which is why y’all should go above and beyond to make sure the hours on Google are up to date and correct. We got all the way down here and struggled to find a parking spot just to see the store was closed.

Amazing customer service from Tay, definitely made the shopping experience for my husband and I more fun! Tay helped us out and had some great recommendations on several items we ended up purchasing. The other staff were ok but she really personalized the experience and was very engaging. I’ll definitely go to her again for future recommendations from the store.
