“I would just like to Say I just left the Dollar Tree on GenMeyer Ave. I Picked up 2 Ballons 3 Cards and a Scarf and A Garden Flag.The Young Man At the Register Was Very Professional Respectful,Kind and Polite.The Other Employess Were All Very Respectful and Attentive to The Customers As The Manager.They Were All Practicing COVID Protocol.They Treated All Customers the Same Thank You All So Very Much.Keep up the Great Work.✌”

“This is the dollar tree I most frequent and I can always go in and out quickly. Well stocked and I usually end up with what I came for and more. Every dollar tree is organized differently, so it is always like playing hide and go seek to find your things. If you cannot find something, then you can always ask someone where an item is. It is located in the plaza near Winn Dixie and have plenty of parking spots. Do yourself a favor and grab some tacos and/or a burrito in the nearby taco truck in the same parking lot!”
“Very friendly employees. Like most dollar store the chefs are stocked a few days after the truck. Blame the lack of baskets on the customers, i see them 2&3 blocks from the store.”

“My son (7yo) loves the pizza. Today we came and the lady went out of her way to leave pepperonis off the slices he wanted to buy when making a fresh pie which I greatly appreciated. When we walked outside though the picnic tables to eat at had been removed to deter loitering forcing us to eat in the vehicle which I did not appreciate.”
“Without a doubt, the fanciest and cleanest gas station store I've seen since I was in the business districts of Lima, Peru and Midtown Manhattan.Lakeview really is a whole different world from the rest of New Orleans.”
“The night shift manager and his team were exceptional. These young men made me feel so proud. I felt safe, and the store was well-stocked. They were attentive and incredibly patient with me. I have never been to a Dollar General where the employees took such pride in their work. They weren’t distracted by their phones or engaged in irrelevant or inappropriate conversations. They gave each customer equal attention. I hope they continue their drive for success; this is just the beginning for these impressive young men.”

“The store has really cleaned up itself. No more long lines and unprofessional workers. They actually have shopping baskets now and don’t treat you like a criminal. You can definitely tell they change staff and management and boy did this change everyone’s shopping experience. You can come here now. They have workers that actually work and don’t sit on their phones all day and FaceTime each other. Whoever is responsible thanks for stepping in. This is a really good spot on broad to have a business. And it’s good to have a dollar store around. “This is by far the best dollar store in New Orleans. They have fresh produce and wonderful prices and a great selection of ink pens and Iams pet food. Also, they are never out of shopping carts and the cashiers are efficient”

“You can get literally anything in this store. Be nice is the main thing you ask the employees they will show you where whatever you are looking for is. I've seen all the negative reviews from a bunch of KENS & KARENS. Brush that sh*t off! This is NOLA you take your life in your hands wherever you go. Be it Arizona, Texas, NY, Florida! All places the same and all places are dangerous.”
“I appreciate the fact that this store is using stacked with products and highly convenient! Sometimes the lines can be super long and over the years the employees belts in the register never move. Also, when the lines are long with customers there’s never two lanes open. Overall, I stop seldomly if there’s not too many people shopping there. Unfortunately, due to high crime rates in this area, the Family Dollar stores in the area are closing down. I would hate for this location to move being that it’s like one of the few left in this area! But I like that you can find what you need in your everyday lives or routines! Also, the Family Dollar app lets you save money ? which is my favorite ❤️ especially when there’s coupons on things I really need! Thanks ?? for that especially!”
“Everyone is ALWAYS nice, excellent customer service. To the lady ranting about them being rude, try going into a place of business to see if they're HIRING. Who’s job hunts by calling a place of business during business hours? Their focus is " the customers" who's patronizing the store not a "potential" employee who’s too lazy to visit the store to get an application and possibly speak with a hiring manager upon completing an application.”
“I mean, it is what it is. It’s just the Dollar General. During my visit, it was busy and the line was long but we don’t have rows of DGs down the street like Houston does, so it’s expected. Anywho, I got this bikini line trimmer from there and y’all it works so good! I forgot how much I paid for it but man it is definitely worth it. It also has a guard for the larger side! 2 Triple A batteries are needed”

“It's coo.. I've been going to this dollar tree for years since its been open. Sometimes when I go to different ones they don't have what this one has ..and the bathroom stays nasty ..so just try to hold your bladder I guess..even the cashier said "oh you don't want to use it" smh that says alot!”
