creative drinks, garlic parm fries are delicious, and incredible talent that is attracted to this venue. bartenders were lovely, and it's free to get in (at least when I went!) this is a must stop in nola! Not a lot of seating though, all the tables were reserved and we were lucky to land a spot on the only available couch. we went on a Wednesday night and it was packed by 11, so maybe try to reserve a table if you want to sit and enjoy the live music

This place has so much history. It’s embedded in the historical area of uptown New Orleans, not too far from the St Charles area. I was in total awe of the way the history of the building was told, not just by John, but the way the building was refurbished. There’s a house that sits on top of the bar, literally that you can rent and watch the stage right from your room! How’s about that for originality?! All the rooms are named after famous people and decorated with pictures inside. There’s a pool in the back with a bar. My last words for this place; small hotel but big personality.

It is a black owned family business location. It’s a nice spot. I went there for a party.

We visited the Dew Drop as part of our self guided walking tour, what a wonderful find!
There is so much history here and John was so welcoming he offered us a tour of the hotel and told us all the history.
The themed rooms are fabulous and the place is spotlessly clean.
We were sad we weren't staying there on this visit as it's such a quirky place and so welcoming, but we'llknow next time if we return to New Orleans!
Thanks for taking the time to tell us the history and show us around!

In town for Essence and decided to visit Dew for their Friday night jazz show. It poured down rain and was raining when we exited our Uber. When we entered a very nice lady, Crystal I think is her name, offered us towels. It was three of us. They had hot tea available, and it was my favorite- Hibiscus which is not common in a lounge type space. It was a very rainy night with eventual flash flood warnings, but folks came out. Food is available including vegan wings. They were surprisingly delicious. Our server, Dasia, was very, very accommodating. My cocktail was on point. Support this BOB. They earned the support. Oliver is an OUTSTANDING host and was very supportive in getting us into the venue out of the rain. He was genuinely nice and sooooo pleasant. Wish more establishments copied the is model on how to treat patrons.

This past weekend, my mom and I visited one of her childhood memories, the Dew Drop Inn located in Uptown New Orleans on LaSalle street. My mom's mother and sister went to the Dew Drop Lounge frequently since my auntie was a relatively well known New Orleans's singer, singing at various spots in the French Quarters and at the Dew Drop.
Check it out when you visit New Orleans. My girlfriends and I had a great time later that evening!

Phenomenal music scene, great drinks (in glass and not plastic cups, which I love). Definitely will be a regular spot whenever I'm in town! Black owned and supported. Excited to see what the other night's look like since I went on a Wednesday.

I ended up at the Dew Drop because it was the location for the start of the 2nd line. The 2nd line was cancelled but I'm so happy I discovered this gem. It's a museum and lounge. The staff was lovely. "Ro your favorite bartender" was great. They were playing bounce music. It was just a good time. They were very welcoming and clean. I would definitely visit again if I'm ever in uptown. I didn't try the food so I can't comment but it's a vibe.

Popped in on a Tuesday and it was comedy night. The place is spacious on the inside! Happy hour didn't end until 8pm! I ordered two drinks + wings and fries. The food came out and fresh! Our waitress was nice and took good care of us. I didn't particularly care for the comedy. I'm not a fan of consistent sexual content. If that's the only way a comedian or host knows how to be funny, go back to the drawing board. I do want to visit their pool one day!

Wow!!! What a beautiful venue for live music and it's a historic hotel. The history in the building is simply amazing and totally enjoyed the live local music vibe. The bar cocktails and food are delicious - simply NOLA. I love that they put a spotlight on local talent and creatives.

This place is a bit out of the way, but the history is amazing. Sound was awesome, it's a small space so be prepared to stand if there is a good band.
Noteworthy details: On the Chitlin circuit, totally redone and lots of history.

They've done an incredibly job restoring this historic property. The rooms, the concert space, the barber shop/museum, the pool, and everything else look fabulous. It certainly is much more than a hotel and you can feel the history when you're inside the space. Cannot wait to visit again on my next NOLA trip.

Enjoyed my visit. Warm down-home atmosphere. Friendly, cordial staff. Eye pleasant decor w/comfortable seating. Pallet pleasing food. Medium priced drinks. Off-street parking.
