Good spot for a last second but before heading out into the streets. The downtown premium is there but it's not 50%-100% marked up like some places on canal.

This place has so many beautiful shirts for men on display and the back of the store, and for different occassions! Seems certain sizes get sold super fast. They also have good quality jeans for women, but most of the shop is men clothing.
Also, the customer service was great! Very humble man.

The best clothes store in the city, bar none. Definitely I've come in here countless times and always been satisfied. Support small business, support local companies.

We had been wandering by to local menswear shops when we happened upon denim den. It was located 2 blocks from where we were staying. We initially stopped to look at their selection of men's shoes because there were some styles that caught my eye. The staff was very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. I saw that they had sport coats and found a bright blue that I liked very much. They had my size but the sleeves needed to be taken in. The older gentleman was very helpful and gave great advice. My initial plan was to get the jacket and take it home to be altered. It was not a high end jacket, but i loved the color and appearance of the jacket. During our conversation with the older gentleman we learned he had a "tailor" that would alter the jacket. They said they could have it done by Monday at 11 am. This suited us fine. The gentleman fitted the sleeves and pinned them for alterations, after this we paid for everything and left. Come Monday morning, one of the other men called at abou 10 or 1030 and said the jacket would not be done by 11 and offered a full refund. I explained I was willing to wait, we just needed it before Tuesday. He said it would be done by 2 pm Monday. We arrived at 2 and he said the tailor wasn't a answering his phone and was running late. We waited and shortly one of the other staff arrived. He was carrying the jacket balled up in a plastic bag, the other man told him to hurry inside as I had been waiting. He kept saying He had lost his phone. I started to become suspicious that something was wrong. He took the balled up jacket out of the bag, as he did I noticed a large amount of lining fabric in the bag. I tried the jacket on and noticed the top button was about to come off, he said wait, he will fix it. I tried it on anyway and while looking at it noticed what appeared to be black stitching on the sleeves. I don't think it was actually black, but a shadow created by the sewing machine with way to high of thread tension. It was at this point that I noticed the lining was not attached to the end of the sleeves. I took the jacket off and pulled the sleeves lining out of the sleeves. He had cut the lining several inches short. Maybe all the way back to mid forearm. He had not even finished the edges. I told them I will not accept this. The gentleman that brought the jacket kept saying He could fix it and kept apologizing. I told him this is not visible without replacing the entire lining. It turns out the "tailor " was this young man. The other man apologized and offer a refund stopped the other man that just kept apologizing. In the end I'm not sure what exactly transpired here. They gave me full refund nd we left, with them still apologizing. This guy had no business around a sewing machine.

No idea how this place stays in business... All of the ridiculously overpriced clothing here can easily be obtained online for a much more normal price. If people are coming here and buying these clothes, the store is getting lucky. Ever hear of Mercari, Poshmark and eBay?
