I receive treatment at the Crescent New Orleans- located on Beniville Street. The center, has been providing my dialysis treatment. I've been receiving care with the Davita - for over 7 years and now my health is further declining. My mobility is declining and with that said, the center explained, that they do not provide assistant, by way of wheelchair assistance- to and from my car. I've spoken, to the Director of the Center and she has said - they just can't and want provide Wheelchair assistance. She went on to explain, that by providing the wheelchair assistance to and from the automobile- deems me to be a safety HAZARD! I've explained, that their's several individual which drive - which have disability issues but! It's dosen't take away their independence. I also explained or questioned, I thought the center is supposed to provide SOME level of patient's care and support??? I guess not! And - MORE greater! There's only "one" wheelchair which is broken, missing, unavailable and staff, seem to be unphased- by it! Lastly, Dialysis, is a treatment which does not heal the body and it's known that if, a patient continues treatment- for and extended period- their health will DECLINE- brittle bones, lose of mobility and ultimately- DEATH! Is it not important- to provide PATIENTS SUPPORT! I'm so disappointed- with this center and it staff members. Signing off Charlie Temple- the treated client
