What a charming bookstore! It is small and cluttered with books, the owner seems like a father who watches his children with love and care, I love this type of a little bookstore. Worth to stop by and get some unique feelings.

Have been a patron of this local gem for a long time. New location gives more room to brows around and enjoy the selection. Had some relatives visiting and they all are bookworms and could not say enough about the overall charm! Got several good books and finally a copy of Edward Gorey!Stop in when you are in the area.

One sign of an extraordinary bookstore is how easily one can become "lost" in it. A lot goes into creating an environment in which a complete stranger immediately feels a sense of genuine wonder or fascination with his/her surroundings. It seemed natural to stumble upon this store, walk inside, marvel, and browse. Was it a little cramped? Yes. But it was also impressively well organized, all things considered. My only regret is that I could not spend more time here. The gentleman who I presume owns and operates the bookstore was very courteous and helpful to me. I hope to visit the store again someday.

My family wandered through one night near Christmas and picked up a few used books. If I knew we were going to pass by a used bookstore I would have brought my list. It's not huge but it's fairly well organized.

One of my favorite places in New Orleans. I've been multiple times and they always have an extremely interesting catalog of books that is hard to find online. Highly recommend!

Was at this bookstore earlier. Guy came in being very disruptive (yelling on speaker phone in the quiet store) and the owner kindly told him to take his phone off speaker in order to not disturb others. The guy then became very argumentative and threatened the man with bad reviews. The owner tried to deescalate the situation and offered the man to stay and enjoy his experience, but the guy refused. The guy then wrote a mean review on yelp in front of the store, and taunted the owner. The owner asked the guy to talk it out and be on good terms, but the guy took off. Anyways, as far as the store goes, it was beautiful. Very great selection of books (my group has very diverse taste from poetry to fitness reading).The owner was very kind to us and helpful. He discussed the different books we were buying and encouraged us to keep reading, it was obvious he was passionate about his business. It's great to experience a small shop with big passion. Would recommend to anyone (except the guy who was mean, that was embarrassing and I wouldn't go back simply to save face).
