The service at this location has devolved in the past months. The staff lost one of my prescriptions *yes, lost!* which required me to go back to my doctor's office to retrieve a new one. A recent medication price rose 800% with no explanation. They don't even stock 3 of my meds, requiring long wait times for them to come in and get refilled. The texts they send are inaccurate, and they never pick up the phone. I am beyond disgusted with this corporate ripoff!

Answer the phone. I know you’re not talking to anyone else because you pick up and hang up my call. This is so ridiculous

Monique was fantastic while getting my 2 year olds passport photo taken. Getting a toddler to stay still, keep their hands down and not smile is nearly impossible but Monique was patient and sweet and ultimately got the picture. Thank you!

The call wait time is insane, I've been on hold for 25 minutes just to refill a prescription

The Prytania location used to be open 24/7. I guess not anymore. Open hours was the only reason I ever used this location as my default pharmacy, even though it isn't the closest. While I'm extremely disappointed that the pharmacy is no longer open around the clock - and I can't think of any other pharmacy that now is anymore - my complaint is with the entire CVS corporation, which only offers automated inbound phone guidance since getting any human being to answer the phone at any location appears to be impossible. Had anyone answered the phone, I might have been able to transfer a prescription from the Claiborne location, which I also discovered apparently keeps banker hours, closing earlier than the store, even though the store is open for extended hours. Here's an idea, CVS: Stop marketing yourself as a pharmaceutical distributor, so that when decisions are made about where to locate pharmacies, we might give local family operations a chance to thrive. As it is, Walgreens and CVS - both pathetic pharmaceutical providers - have taken over the market, and consumers have no alternatives. I may need to underscore this point with the New Orleans City Council.

Never answer the phone. They text me and said my medication was ready for pick up. So I go to pick it up and they said it was not ready and they will have to fast track it so I had to wait another half hour after standing in line for at least 25 minutes. This happens ALL THE TIME!!! So I try to call every time before going because it WASTES almost 2 hours of my life but they never answer

*BEWARE* I bought a Nike gift card and it was fraudulent. CVS or Nike would not help at all. Both companies know this is happening but still selling them. Do not shop here!

This is and has been my regular pharmacy for years. Each and everyone of the pharmacists has alway treated me so well. I’d like to thank them for all the years they have helped me. The rest of the store is very nice, too.

Was on automated hold for AN ENTIRE HOUR AND SEVENTEEN MINUTES and all I needed was to cancel an rx that was sent there by mistake. Now my regular cvs pharmacy is closing in an hour and won't fill it until tomorrow. So now I can't get my meds until tomorrow after work. Not like I need that medication or anything../s. AND THEN WHEN THE PHARMACY WORKER PICKED UP, HE WAS RUSHING AND RUDE, like I get it can be busy and he's probably juggling a lot, but I just sat on hold for almost an hour and a half listening to skull-numbing jingly hold music. The whole experience was disgusting.

I just had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. My insurance changed and I had to change from Walgreens to CVS. CVS filled my prescription, didn’t use my insurance, said they did when I asked about the unusually high price, filled half the prescription and when I realised their mistakes and called the pharmacy to discuss it, they were rude and dismissive and kept blaming my doctor and just kept repeating “feel free to call your doctor” in a mocking and sarcastic tone. I am beyond amazed. I find the folks in New Orleans to be very friendly and helpful, and this was a definite exception.

I've always enjoyed this CVS and is way better than brand X. Very prompt and courageous professionals in the Pharmacy department. The times they are open greatly exceed other stores.
