Darrick was super helpful, and did amazing work. I appreciate all that him and the workers did to help me get my core refund for my car battery, and I could not be more pleased with the customer service I recieved tonight.

Calles several times to the auto department because strangely online it doesn't show availability of batteries in stock. No one would answer and the battery I needed was faced backward on the shelf so you could not see which one it was easily.

Costco is usually great, but their tire center is a different story. Costco's tire center failed to honor their road hazard warranty when I discovered a nail in my tire just a month after purchase. Despite the clear cause, they insisted I pay full price for a replacement. Manager Denny was rude and miscalculated the cost, only agreeing to refund $70 after I pressed for a receipt and GM. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, highlighting a lack of customer care and transparency. They clearly don't value customer care or honor their warranties. Look elsewhere for tire service.

Using Costco all over the country, there’s one certainty-quality of people and service!
New Orleans is no different in that regard. HOWEVER BUSIER THAN ALL I HAVE VISITED, the professionals are EXTREMELY FRIENDLY… well, at least 99.9 percent. Some departments, like tires, are crazy busy and there is little time for friendly chat.
Mr. Chris at the tire center DID GIVE ME A SMILE WHEN HE ASKED, “how can i help you, Sir”…
I greatly appreciate Mr. Chris for fitting me in a tight schedule! Although it is evident he’s in overdrive trying to help so many customers, Mr. Chris was extremely helpful and communicated exactly what I needed, going above and beyond to make sure my order didn’t slip through the cracks. Also - this department can get really busy, so I’d recommend making an appointment before coming in.

Love costco. Hate the tire center. Rarely answer their phone, so end up wasting 15-20 minutes to make an appointment even when calling them back. Or you have to just go as a walk in. Frustrating enough to make me think about cancelling my membership. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You’ll have a much more peaceful day (or week)

I got tires from Costco at a different location. I got a flat tire in New Orleans. I called 15 times and sat on hold for over an hour trying to call to get the tire repaired or replaced. I was also at my rotation time. After four hours of trying to call these less than lovely folks, I finally called a "manager". She told me in the rudest way imaginable that I should try pressing the tire extension. Like ma'mm...I have for hours. She said she'd have someone call me back. Fast forward 2 hours... no call. I call back again and ask for the main manager in a less than pleased manner. She told me I need to lower my tone. Then I got irate. I spent 15 calls and hours of my day to get a flat tire repaired in a city I don't live in. 15 calls and hours just to talk to the tire dept. I do not understand how they could not comprehend that people who are stranded need people to answer a phone. McDonald's has better trained managers. Finally got a call back from the tire center telling me it would be 5 days till they could fit me in. That makes the road hazard policy completely useless like their managers and workers. Never met a lazier set of people in my life and I eat fast food. The manager should change careers because that manger couldn't manage a toilet. Go to any other tire shop. I mean even Boudreaux and Thibodeaux hanging with Cooter Brown could run circles around these incompetent oxygen thieves.

While traveling on business in New Orleans I needed my glasses repaired. So I stopped by the Costco Optical Department. Thanks to the courteous and professional service of Brandy Pillars Verdier, my glasses were repaired and cleaned.

I want to thank and compliment Chris in the tire shop. Online I ordered a set of tires for my daughter's car and scheduled their installation. On the day the tires were delivered to the Costco tire shop, Chris called to advise me that I shouldn't install these tires - they are the wrong tires for this climate. I thought I'd ordered tires that provided optimal performance in rain. Chris informed me that these tires were specifically designed for snow/ice, and that they would not perform well (poor traction and high wear rate) in the Louisiana heat. He pointed out several alternate tires for me to consider and he explained how to get a refund on the tires that I'd mistakenly ordered. On his own initiative, Chris saved me from making a costly mistake. He didn't have to do that. Thanks Chris!!

Every tire was over-inflated by several pounds and my brand -specific valve caps were missing. The lubricant used on tire mounting had dripped over my rims. No one thought to clean it up. Very sloppy work.

I travel so often I would go poor if I got souvenirs for my friends and family on every trip, but my boyfriend is nicer than me so he was looking for something New Orleans-esq to bring back home. I suggested Costco since you can usually get a wholesale deal and I was pretty confident they MUST have something appropriate to bring back. We found boxes of Aunt Sally's Pralines, 18 pieces for under $20 per box, compared to those same individual pieces being sold $4.99-5.99 each at the other tourist shops and airport. WHAT A DEAL!! Highly recommended if you are travelling to/from New Orleans and looking for a nice gift to bring to people. While we were there we also browsed around to see how this Costco is unique. I noticed a lot of similar items, but this Costco definitely had a better selection of seafood. Always fun and interesting to check out the local Costcos.

I love Costco. The tire dept is the weakest link. They never answer the phone. Also last week my secretary was trying to buy 3 pieces of jewelry for like $1500. Between the bad attitude of the cashier named ChrisShannon and the bad attitude of the woman at the back desk named Brittany, my friend not only cancelled her jewelry order order she also cancelled 3 memberships

I always love a good Costco! You can never go wrong. Clean, great value, great meat and fish. And the best place to get your Rx
