Stopped in on my first visit to New Orleans (am moving there later this year) Wanted to see the types of stuff here and I was not disappointed. Had I more storage in NOLA I may have left with more. Instead I picked up some reproductions of antique Storyville photos to frame and put in my new place! Can't wait to come back once I am moved on in! Highly recommend stopping buy and checking things out. The Guy working was very welcoming!

Stopped by a few days ago to buy a "red" Fiestaware cup and saucer I saw in the window walking by the previous night. Being in a similar category of collectibles, the guy running the store showed me some uranium glass Mardi Gras beads, which I didn't even know existed. Super cool find for a nuclear engineer like me! He was very knowledgeable on the history of these items. I even went back the next day to buy a few more! Huge inventory of other items too. Highly recommend stopping by here next time you're in the French Quarter!

Reasonably priced antiques and super friendly staff. A ton of items from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Authentic antiques, too! Would definitely come back!

I loved poking around in this shop that is absolutely packed with beautiful and rare objects. I had been looking for a certain type of largish (3.5' diameter) chandelier, and I found exactly what I wanted! The proprietor is a great guy, and he delivered it to me later that day.

One of my longtime favorite stops in my favorite U.S. city! I have found treasures in this shop, which is always packed to the rafters with interesting and sometimes rare objects of all kinds. I never miss stopping by repeatedly whenever I am in New Orleans! Make sure to have some time to nose around; there is so much to see.

Nice owners/employees. Mutant glass, old salt & pepper shakers, wall pockets, costume jewelry, one-of-a-kind art by local artists, antique lamps & crystal chandeliers

Such a great shop! Really good selection, especially lamps and lighting, and fair prices for being near a touristy area. Owner was very nice as well. I left with 3 treasures and would’ve gone back for more if I had more space and time.

There are a LOT of things in here. You'll find something you love like I did. The owner or associate was very friendly. Now I need to find a reason to use a cufflink, they had so many!

Just went to this store to check out some 78 rpm records. They had a bunch that were unpriced but I was happy to look through them anyway. Many of them were completely crushed in pieces or partially cracked which isn't uncommon or completely out of the ordinary, just sad and annoying. It was initially unclear as to how much the 78s were but it eventually became clear according to an employee that they wanted $5 each. This is completely reasonable depending on the record. I saw a bunch of 78s inside an old Victrola so I looked in there and found some stuff I was interested in. One of the employees told me he wasn't sure how much those were though and that he'd have to talk to the owner to make sure. I waited to meet the owner before the store closed and he gave me a pretty fair price of $40 for a stack of 9 78s. I wasn't super passionate about them though so I bargained with him and asked if he'd do a 25% discount for the stack ($30). I don't think this was unreasonable because they were unpriced, not that easy to get to in the shop, and the market for shellac records in stores is pretty slim. I usually find them all the time for $1-2. I told him this and he said that he finds them all the time too and that if I find them all the time then I should know that his offer was a steal. I didn't quite agree with that as a pre-war blues and jazz collector so I just told him they unfortunately weren't early enough for me and so I said goodbye and left. This comment, questioning my experience as a collector, the experience of having to wait for the owner to price them, and the experience of it not being clear how much the records were just didn't feel good. I probably would have bought them in the end for the price he asked for if I was talking to someone who was a little less sure of himself, realized his setup was messy, and was there to price them for me from the beginning. His comment felt arrogant and quite frankly ridiculous. When I left I'm thinking to myself "who is this guy, claiming to buy 78s all the time, to tell me his offer is a steal when his 78s are unorganized, broken, and it's not even clear how much they're worth?"

I don’t know which is more fantastic, the shop itself or the owner. I’ve been shopping here for years and I have never left empty handed, having always found something totally irresistible, unique and reasonably priced. The owner is fun and friendly and really knows his stuff. He can absolutely tell legitimate antiques of literally any kind from reproductions. If you haven’t gone here, go! If you have been here before, go back! There’s always something amazing.
