I walked into this branch as a private banking client on 5/20/24 and walked out as regular banking client on 5/21/24 due to the ill treatment that I received from one of the relationship bankers at this branch! I am now in the process of totally ending my financial relationship with Chase due to this bad experience. I had an appointment to discuss my options for a CD that had recently matured. I included a brief description of what I was looking to accomplish during that appointment. When I timely arrived for my appointment, it appeared as though this particular banker had no idea as to why I was there based on my interaction with her. It just went downhill from there. I ended up being forced to come back at a later time to meet with a financial advisor named Jacob. My experience with Jacob was ok "NOT GREAT" as he was more interested in minimizing my earlier experience with the previous banker and emphasizing the fact that he works for JP Morgan and not Chase Bank. He left me at a lost for words with his emphasis. I then had a conversation regarding this matter with the branch manager on 5/21/24 in which I received more excuses for the disappointing way in which I was treated. I went ahead and downgraded my private banking relationship at that time. This is definitely not the way that I was promised I would be treated when I joined private banking! You need to do better Chase Bank and you too JP Morgan!!!

Security guard grilled us from afar asking how she can help us as we stood at the entry way behind other customers. This was quite embarrassing and a horrible way to represent chase members. We wished to open an account just to be told that we had to set an appointment because of short staffing on a Friday afternoon at 1:30pm on 1/12/24. I’m only leaving this review because a female security guard has no business greeting people and asking what a Chase member needs in front of other people patiently waiting for services. No one deserves to be greeted this way and I will never visit this branch again!!! Get more staffing and greet members of this bank with more class!

3.5 dollars fee just to withdraw cash with a VISA credit card at their ATM. Thieves. / 3.5 com dollars on each ATM withdrawal. Thieves.

Wow! What an amazing experience we had at this branch last week. Samantha Croon was outstanding! We were trying to get a transfer done spur of the moment and Samantha scooped us up off the waiting area with such grace and kindness. We were so blown away. She got the transfer done quickly and spent the rest of the time giving us recommendations and her local perspective on things to do in the area. She was a breath of fresh air, a real gem!!

DO NOT COME HERE! One star rating is being “generous”…POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE??I went to the St Charles location to open an account and a masked Bank teller ( Older caucasian lady with short mousy brown hair ) didn’t want to help me open an account with my GA Drivers License ( I had ALL required documents with me ) and when I requested a manager ( Bald Tall African American man with trimmed beard ) also gave me the run around and just brushed me off and began fawning over a Chase client that was next in line. I was treated terribly and you best believe that I will be notifying JPMorgan CHASE CORPORATE ?

Good luck trying to get anything done here.Made an appointment, got canceled a few minutes before while I was already there. Went back the next day, the banker told me they would circle back with me on a number of issues.I spent two more months calling, emailing and stopping by the branch, and never heard back. They're not interested in your business if they messed up (which is exactly what happened). Avoid Shweta Verma if you're looking for accountability and responsiveness.

I never had trouble using Chase basic services before now. I closed out my deceased husband's account from a different bank and mistakenly deposited it in my checking account. Chase seized the check, reversed the deposit, and sent me a message that I would be hearing from them. I realized my error and called their customer service several times. After talking to an offshore rep with a thick accent and a bad connection, I knew nothing more other than I would get a letter by US mail in seven to ten business days. The letter finally arrived ten days later with a copy of the check, and instructions that I could take it to the bank to deposit. I did, around noon, to the New Orleans Saint Charles branch. I stood in line behind no one until I was motioned to step up to the teller, who told me that I would need an estate account. I asked how I did that, and she said I would have to talk to a banker, motioning to three Chase employees who had been standing and watching it all. I approached them and explained what I needed to do. One woman, obviously in charge, asked if I had a tax id, which I would need. I said no, could they help me with that. She said I could get one quickly at irs.gov. I asked if I used my smart phone to do that in the lobby, could we move forward. She told me firmly I would need an appointment. I asked for an appointment, and she said they (I assume the three standing around) were booked for the day and I would have to come back after I had made such appointment. She really showed me who was boss there, and she had no intention of being helpful other than was absolutely required. Not what I expected from Chase.

My daughters and I went to this branch today to open a college checking account because my oldest daughter will be attending school in New Orleans. Samantha took care of us and gave the best experience I could have asked for. She was patient and kind and she answered all of our questions fully and professionally. Samantha made me feel better as a mom sending her first born away to college in a whole new environment. Thank you Samantha for being so awesome!

I went to this branch on August 2nd to open a college checking account. I brought every necessary documents and as for my address verification, I got it verified and printed out by the university because I live in graduate housing. The staff named Samantha said that my address verification doesn't work and kept telling me to apply for a Louisiana state ID at ABC Title, which I believe is completely absurd and a waste of time. That day, I ended up opening an account at a different bank. On August 13th, I went to another Chase branch to open an account (with the same documents) and got my college checking account and savings account opened within 45 minutes. If you're going to open an account at Chase, go to another Chase branch because Samantha here clearly doesn't know what she's doing.
