The apartment management have horrible attitudes to say they have rats and roaches running around. The nerve of them. These apartments BEEEEEN nasty and the pictures are a lie! & have the nerve to charge high rent IN THE EAST! They do not care about the complaints! They do not care about the tenants! As long as they are getting the monthly rent on time to get to the property owner. BLACK PEOPLE, it’s time we all start sticking together! When these apartment managers don’t do their jobs come together and MAKE them do their jobs! Now they have no choice but to act on the matters! And I would sue for emotional distress! Because how can anyone sleep at night knowing there are huge rats running around! How can you feel comfortable eating food you purchased knowing there are rats in your unit maybe eating your food! Then the nerve of the property manager to be in these comments responding to people!

If I could do zero stars I would, I cannot begin to share with you all the lack of professionalism as well as nasty attitudes I have received from Property Management since I've resided here now going on 300 days, Derrick Williams Property Manager is extremely rude, very confrontational, condescending and the definition of an dictator towards his residents. I moved in February 8, 2023 and I cannot begin to tell you how much grace I've given Carmel Brook, the Property has potential but you can honestly throw the entire office staff away besides the 2 women who work in the reception area. Derrick has not only been rude to me over the phone. He has hung up on me not once but 3 times since my tenure at Carmel Brook, I've been hung up on by Keyri twice, not once do I come off as disrespectful however when redirection to the main topic needs to be revisited I do make these two aware. The apartment has issues withplumbing, the a/c leaked back in April water seeped into the carpets and their is a mold smell, knats in the apartment whenever I cook or turn on the heater, I've been bitten all over by these bugs they've been telling me I was on the pest control list since April no one has came to my unit yet we are now in December, the window is not glass it is plastic and I'm truly concerned as this is not a safe area to reside, the window is dry rotted they put c foam on the window it looks disgusting for what I pay. I live next to about 4 abandoned apartments, the light in the parking lot is out so it's dark at night, lizards crawl into the apartment due to the dry rotted window I told Derrick about it he proceeds to ask me what do I want them to do about it and proceeds to ask me if their is anything else he can help me with while dismissing my concerns, thus guy is very personal he has made sexual advances towards me on two occasions and since then he has been very retaliatory towards m, I've been asking to speak with Regional Management and he puts me out of his office or he hangs up on me. Derrick then on today threatened to place a 30 day notice to vacate because he stated that I was irate however I was not I am actually being harrased and threatened due to us having a conversation as it relates to the issues I have in my apartment. Maintenance never completes the work orders but have been marking the as complete in the portal I have had over 16 service request in 300 days that only 1 have been complete ,the draw in the bathroom has been missing since before I moved in , back in april I was inside sleeping and maintenance was standing over me asking for a cigarette, they do not provide 24 hour notices before entering your apartment its always unannounced with loud bangs on the door then they'll just enter I am very displeased I have 2 months left in my lease , never again will I ever rent from lynd not to mention the apartment I was shown was not the apartment they moved me into its like paying rent to live in an abandoned apartment please save yourself the harrassment throughout your tenure do not sign a lease you will regreet it this is physically, mentally and emotionally draining i will now go the legal route due to property management not willing to address these issies outside of court see pictures for proof. I currently live in these apartments & it’s a mess. Nothing is up to date!! The pictures are an absolute lie on the website. The cabinets in the apartments is really old that the wood is chipping & all they did was paint over it! My kitchen drawer was falling apart upon move in & all they did was put a piece of dirty wood in it. I had bullet holes in the window & all I got was plexiglass to replace the damaged glass. The light in the kitchen that sits over the sink is old & really rusty, full of spider webs. Spider webs in every corner of the living area. Nets are everywhere!! They have a roach/bugs all together problem that I’ve been trying to take care of on my own because pest control don’t come out every month as i’m paying for in my rent. Ac/Heat always going out or isn’t working. These are some really dirty apartments. NOTHING IS UP TO DATE. EVERYTHING IN THE APARTMENT IS REALLY OLD. CABINETS NOT CHANGED IN THE KITCHEN OR BATHROOM. NOT A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO LIVE AT ALL.

This is legitimately the worst complex I’ve ever lived in. The mailroom gets broken into regularly, packages stolen outside of front doors, pool isn’t open 1/10th of the year, gym is only open during office hours (closes at 5), they change the AC vent once a year, and then has the audacity to charge you for someone else’s mistakes. This whole place is a lie. Don’t move here. I’d rather live in an in-law suite then renew my lease with these a-holes.

Do not apply here. The public washers and dryers literally never work! They never fix them. Do yourself a favor a pass on this complex!

Extremely rude! Management is unprofessional, very short with you and disrespectful. I had the Property Manager Kayti hang up in my face after I was trying to get her to listen to my concerns however she was extremely short, talking over me, and just completely hang up. The apartment is infested with roaches, knats and my floor had water coming I am assuming from my next door neighbor… neighbors are rude, loud, not to mention your front porch is a firing range! I had to take cover at 9pm at night someone knocked on my door assuming for help and I started to hear gun shots, police did not arrive! They need more lights on their buildings, need to invest in security and hire people who are customer service oriented to work in their office! I decided to work overnight because it is unsafe to sleep at night!! I wish I could give this place ZERO Stars! One thing I will never forget is a bad customer experience! I was a Property Manager before and to be disrespected and hung up on by Kayti the Assistant Property Manager is just beyond disrespectful and rude!

The complex is pretty quiet and manageable, the staff are always willing to help and work things out, if any problem all you have to do is call.. so far I have no reason to move, and im glad to select this Complex as a place of my stay

The complex is ok. Ryanne is the best in that office as far as professionalism and manners go, the rest, not so much. I do have to add my tub has been rusted SINCE I moved in. They’ll say it’s what you use to wash the tub but I literally have used what was recommended PLUS I talked to a specialist and apparently it’s not even that it’s the pipes or water. They just spray over it, never give it an actual fix. Super hazardous for anyone especially young kids.

Horrible place to live… I’ve been here for a year and maintenance is horrible they barely ever come out to fix anything they do everything except their job…and management THE WORST they always have attitudes and every little thing you do is a violation of lease I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one‼️
