Polite, speedy service here. I was in and out in 5 minutes. If you notice, the complaints at this location tend to come from the privileged types.

This place is worse than the DMV. I don't understand why anybody would voluntarily bank at Capital One.

If I could give Capitol One on Canal St. a moon (zero get it?) not a star. I would today. There were 4 ATMs and only one machine gave money. People were patient but today was the worse. One lady was standing in the line because there is no outside ATM for after hour service. On top of that, this is parade season (Mardi Gras time) man. People need access to their money. It is not like there are ATMs in every store to compensate for the Bank’s defect and deployable after hour customer service. Capital One, I have been a customer for almost 3 decades. You have no problem taking my money but getting it is not so easy. Just tell me why in is this day and age are we having this problem? Tell me why is this constant problem? I know why; because no one cares.

I'm not surprised the bad customer service reviews go back several years for this location. If you need a letter from the Treasury for verified for tax purposes(EFTPS), find another location. They don't notarize at this location, and they refused to write the one sentence on my form verifying their lack of notary public that the EFTPS customer service requested, because they, "don't write letters." They signed it before telling me they don't notarize, and they also didn't offer to locate a branch that does notarize. The 2.9 rating makes a lot of sense, considering the first person that approached me had to be dragged by another coworker to make a simple phone call to verify their policies on "letter writing". This would have been one star if not for said employee who made the effort to persuade the main person I dealt with to make the call.

Capital One is THE WORST. The level of incompetency is off the charts.Had trouble getting access to our nonprofits online account. Spent an hour on the phone with someone who said she "fixed it" and that to try again the next day as the system updates overnight. The next day - still not working.Drive across town to this location and when asked why I was there by the "greeted" (very unfriendly) she tells me that they can't help me with online access and that I have to call. I explained that I had already spent an hour on a call and they we're unable fix it. She shrugged her shoulders and said "our system is down we can't help you."Went in last Saturday to add someone to our account. The lady was very helpful but couldn't complete the change because their printers were down and they needed to print stuff for us to sign.Just arranged to get off of work to try again to add our treasurer to the account this afternoon only to be told upon arrival (4:30 sharp) that they don't do those after 4:00 because it takes "about an hour". We asked if there was somewhere we're that is stated and the young woman (same one that was the "greeter" weeks earlier said "I can get someone to tell you." And heads to the back.Random employee comes out (no introduction) basically parrots the same thing adding "she leaves at 4:45 and she's the only one who can do it." When I point out that the woman who tried to help us on Saturday was working behind the counter and asked if she could help us, she said "it will take too long". When I explained all our frustration to her, she simple shrugged her shoulders.Never once during any of this was there a "sorry for the inconvenience" or any type of empathy or apology.

If I could give this bank zero stars I would because that's the amount of customer service or respect I got after banking with Capital One for over 10yrs and having 5 accounts with them. Management was just plain rude and unwilling to help at all so I closed all my accounts, walked across the street and opened a new account at First Horizon bank who were more than helpful in addressing the banking issue I was having. I will NEVER bank with Capital One again and all the reviews of how awful Management is at this branch are 100% justified.

I was misinformed by one of the tellers regarding a deposit I made within the bank. When I went to clear up what happened and hopefully get a resolution the manager Michele had a rebuttal against everything I said instead of taking responsibility on behalf of the teller and tried to defend the company’s policy so heavily. There was no service recovery at all, no acknowledgement of the problem, no resolution and no apology first hand when addressing my issue. Manager was defensive against everything i said and the bank clerk handled the situation a lot better than she did. I truly got an apologetic vibe from the bank clerk and she did everything possible to handle my problem even though it was no way around the situation. Even speaking with capital one’s customer service, the manager acknowledge the mishap on the bank tellers end which the manager in the actual bank did not do. After my check finally deposits I will be leaving Capital One and going to a better bank.

The customer service at this branch is abysmal. Their ATM ate over $500 of mine and they couldn’t care less. I asked to speak to the Branch Manager snd she came out with a smug smirk in her face and was just as unhelpful and rude as the teller. When you manage a bank branch, treat your customers who just had their money stolen with more care and concern instead of being rude, unhelpful, and downright dismissive.I live right down the street and will drive out to Metairie before I return to this branch.

The experience here is a'ight. The problem is the drive-up ATMs are slow and it's difficult to get your card back. The touch screen I have had to touch multiple times. There is an ATM in the lobby at the entrance that works just perfectly and flawlessly- only problem is it isn't available when the branch is closed. People not on any vehicles at all- bicycle, motorcycle, or car just pedestrians have to put themselves in a potential hazardous situation to use them. It would be better if they had a slam door and could slam shut the second entrance to the actual branch and have it be strongly secured and add a swipe unlock to a door to the entrance vestibule lobby so 24 hours a day 7 days a week pedestrians can swipe a debit or credit card and access this ATM. Many other banks have this feature, and some go to the trouble of building an ATM booth for access. Just wish that the ATMs in the pass by lanes were less sticky and the vestibule was more accessible. I almost never need an actual human teller unless I have a specific question. Otherwise: never had a major complaint here with people or services. Or anything.
