“Laura’s Candy shop is wonderful with the best candy in NOLA, Ann must be protected at all costs. She is intriguing and so knowledgeable and helpful! Will make sure to send all people I know visiting the quarter ❤️”
“Wonderful shop with friendly staff. They have lots to look at. Unfortunately we came in the afternoon and didn't get to see them cooking and preparing the different items. They told us they begin cooking about 7am and usually finish up about 1 pm. It would be interesting to see how they make the praline, so next time we'll arrive earlier.”
“This place is awesome! Great selection of candies and it was fun to mix and match and not worry about price differences. If you like candy, you can’t go wrong with a stop in here!”
“Perfect gifts for every holiday or Just because! The best chocolate covered strawberries! They have so much to choose from, I always leave trying something new!! Great location and staff!!”
“This is a lovely little shop with a large selection of souvenirs and treats and plenty of other stuff to pick from. Super friendly staff. Prices were good. I definitely recommend it.”

“Sampled a few variations of praline candy. My favorite was the original and the lemon praline candy.
While there, I got to see them making a fresh batch of praline candy. It smelt so good!”
“I am 58 years old and have lived in Nola all my life and love pralines.
Whice means I have eaten a lot of parlines in my life well I have finally found the best pralines at Bernards it definitely worth the trip to St Charles Ave to get them.”
“I order pralines from Quen as wedding favors for our guests and they were a big hit! They were so cute and in the shape of a fleur de lis, and they were delicious! She was even able to accommodate some with no nuts for some of our guests who had nut allergies. Overall it was a great experience working with Quen - she had great communication and great customer service! I would definitely order from her again and am so glad I found her business!”
“Not a real candy factory, I would say a fudge making place connected to the cafe de monde. I have been to several store looking for a place to buy a bag of mixed candy.
This store has a very, very limited selection of candy. They do have a lot of cups and sugar shakers with the cafe de monde logo. They have a small room with windows to watch some fudge being made. They have some pralines as well if your looking for those in a bag. They do have a whole case of different varieties of the best fudge. The fudge is amazing. I bought the cafe de lait fudge.
No close parking
One piece of fudge was $5
Parking: Very limited street parking. There is a paid parking lot 4 blocks away costing $32 for two hours. This is in the tourist part of the French quarter, use the paid parking lot.”
“Great shop. Very clean and well organIzed. Check out as many of the stores and do comparison shopping. Each one has their own unique items and most carry pralines and Cafe Du Monde products.”
“Was so caught up chatting with the staff here on the history and culture behind pralines that I forgot to get photos. Overall, staff was a great chat and loved seeing it being hand-made in-store.”
“Stopped in while walking through the Quarter. Amazing selection. So. Many. Pralines. Grabbed a selection (all of them were excellent! Some of them actually made it home with me). Also bought some praline coffee to take home (also excellent!), a pecan roll, and some magnets. Just a fun store. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!”

“My daughters & I were in town the weekend of the 25th for a Taylor Swift Concert & stopped in here while out exploring the town. It was a cute little shop with some of the best tasting Pralines I have ever had!!!!”
“The lady that greeted me and wife was so sweet. She welcomed us in, gave us a sample, and checked us out. The easiest decision we made during our whole trip. I've eaten my last one and now I'm looking to buy them online lol I highly recommend visiting and getting two boxes.”
“Nice experience, worker was very friendly and patient and explained to me the different options. I was even able to taste flavors of their ice cream. I ended up getting a Praline milkshake with white chocolate fudge in it.”
“My only MUST have in NOLA. My favorite candy store in the whole world. The BEST chocolate and pralines in the Quarter HANDS DOWN. Our favorites include (but not limited to) Bourbon Street bark, Jackson Squares, tortues, pralines and toffees, but I will honestly buy any of their chocolates or fudge. Chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos are very, very tasty as well. Fun novelty chocolates that are so beautifully detailed it's almost a shame to eat them. Almost a shame because once you start eating you really can't stop. It's been less than 48 hours and there is only 1 toffee left from the box of 6 I purchased. It's okay because they ship, too! Staff was amazing and helpful as always. My husband enjoyed talking about Kung Fu movies with the clerk who assisted us while checking out. Spent way too much but worth every penny!”
