1010 Decatur St, New Orleans“Sampled a few variations of praline candy. My favorite was the original and the lemon praline candy.
While there, I got to see them making a fresh batch of praline candy. It smelt so good!”
“Great shop. Very clean and well organIzed. Check out as many of the stores and do comparison shopping. Each one has their own unique items and most carry pralines and Cafe Du Monde products.”
“The smell of this store pulls you in…almost like those animated cartoons of following your nose to sugary heaven.
I wish I would’ve bought something from this location because I made the rookie mistake of waiting to buy souvenirs from the airport.
Learn from my mistake and just buy everything from here - you’ll save money and you’ll get to restock on the you’ve eaten, and can no longer give to people as souvenirs!”
“You have to stop here for praline when you're in the area! I wasn't sure what to get but the cashier was so helpful and showed me where to find all the flavors I was looking for. I didn't know if I'd like praline, but it's delicious!”
“Laura’s Candy shop is wonderful with the best candy in NOLA, Ann must be protected at all costs. She is intriguing and so knowledgeable and helpful! Will make sure to send all people I know visiting the quarter ❤️”
“Perfect gifts for every holiday or Just because! The best chocolate covered strawberries! They have so much to choose from, I always leave trying something new!! Great location and staff!!”

500 Port of New Orleans Pl, New Orleans“This place is awesome! Great selection of candies and it was fun to mix and match and not worry about price differences. If you like candy, you can’t go wrong with a stop in here!”
“Not a real candy factory, I would say a fudge making place connected to the cafe de monde. I have been to several store looking for a place to buy a bag of mixed candy.
This store has a very, very limited selection of candy. They do have a lot of cups and sugar shakers with the cafe de monde logo. They have a small room with windows to watch some fudge being made. They have some pralines as well if your looking for those in a bag. They do have a whole case of different varieties of the best fudge. The fudge is amazing. I bought the cafe de lait fudge.
No close parking
One piece of fudge was $5
Parking: Very limited street parking. There is a paid parking lot 4 blocks away costing $32 for two hours. This is in the tourist part of the French quarter, use the paid parking lot.”

1515 St Charles Ave Suite 102, New Orleans“I walked in for a praline a couple days ago and the employees were having a hard time with the iPads they use for check-out, seems like the iPads were dying while they were trying to ring up customers. The employees handled it very well and were calm and expressed their gratitude to the customers who had to wait a while to check out while one of them ran across the street to go get a new charger to plug the iPad back in! I appreciated their professionalism while they tried their best to keep the business moving, even trying to make change for me out of their tip jar just so I could check out! Friendly customer service and a good praline!”

“Touristy candy and gift shop that caters to tourists in the French quarter. They have a good selection of candies and gifts branded with new Orleans, so you can buy these for your friends and families. There are a lot of these stores around here but this store had good prices.”
9:30AM - 8PM
839 Decatur St, New Orleans“So many stores sell the pralines but only this one has an anthropomorphic alligator greeting you upon entrance. He is ornery because you can purchase the decapitated heads of his brethren within. Should you be so gauche as to procure one of these fine trophies, at least have the decency to hide them in a bag. It’s only proper.”
“My husband and i were on Vacation from California (41 years marriage Anniversary celebration) coming up on July 24th and we visited the Fudgery. The lady was very friendly and offered samples of fresh pralines. They were delicious and we purchased and also bought some back to California. They were still fresh as the day we purchased them. If we are back in New Orleans again we will revisit the Fudgery and tell family and friends about it. Thanks... June 28, 2023”
“Absolutely the best candy I've ever had. I always make this a stop when I'm in New Orleans and the rest of the time I order online. Truly a great business with the best pralines.”
