These guys were fabulous and I highly recommend them!! They were professional and polite. I was anxious about shipping all my belongings to Australia, but they packed everything up in boxes and loaded my container and showed me how it was all secured to ease my worries. The team worked very well together and I found the whole business was openly communicative and supportive. 5 stars from me!

They charge you a 50.00 booking fee then it tells you they will contact you which never happened. When I called to verify my move they said cannot accommodate the time I need. We rebooked for the following afternoon causing me to pay an additional day for the truck. I found someone else to unload and called them back to cancel. He actually asked me if I had a scheduled move. When I said I did, but had someone unload already. I asked if they would return ten 50.00 and he said “no” that is nonrefundable.I wonder how many people pay this fee and lose it because they cannot accommodate the move. Seems like a scummy and scammy way to take peoples 50.00.

I hired AD Movers for a long distance move from New Orleans to Raleigh, NC. I had an expensive and irreplaceable family 20+ year old chair break (and they refused to fix it, or reimburse me. Owners response is he has never filed an insurance claim and simply didn’t want to). The leg of the chair snapped off. I also had other smaller things break, like Christmas ornaments, which I told the mover was a valuable box. Also, numerous other things were scratched like my dinner table and now have to pay close to $1,000 to have refinished. Also, they didn’t put back together shelves and other things they had to unscrew to move. Because I didn’t call him within 24-48 hours after moving he said he wasn’t responsible for anything that broke. Which is crazy because I just spent the last few weeks prior to move packing, then had to drive from LA to NC and then he expects me to unpack my ENTIRE house almost immediately. I moved to New Orleans with my old roofing company and moved back to NC to start my own company. As a business owner myself, I’m appalled that he would screw over his customers so easily, especially someone that just dropped $6k on a move. I would never do that. Only good thing is driver was cool and I’m fairly certain they didn’t snoop around my stuff.

Awesome experience with these movers. Would highly recommend. We were sure that our apartment would not fit into our pod, but they made it happen. Plus they were very quick and efficient. good value as well, not as pricy as some movers in the city. Overall would definitely use again.

Movers were professional and fast. The POC who I assume is the boss was not as professional. Apartment request for their insurance was unresponsive until I called a week later for the same request. I was told this is not the normal way we do things. It was then submitted to me instead of to my apartment.I requested movers for 9am and when they weren’t there, I called and was told they would be there 15 minutes (which they were). I told him I only have the loading dock for two hours and his response was, “Well why would you do that?” Because that’s what my apartment allows. The movers accidentally knocked the legs off my desk while moving and had to stay an extra hour to fix it. I was charged for that extra hour until I called and he tried to explain why it was something wrong with my desk. He said I’ll take off half an hour.Although I was disappointed in his unprofessionalism, I tipped the movers, but I will not use them again. I shouldn’t have to request their insurance multiple times, I should have received a call if they were going to be late and I should not have to pay extra for accidents made to my furniture.

I wouldn’t even bother calling any other moving company. I’ve used AD twice and they were professional and handled my furniture and belongings as if it were their own. Friendly, reasonably priced and very responsive, they are a great company to work with.

I didn’t get a chance to use these movers but I had called frantic one morning trying to get movers over Mardi Gras/ Ash Wednesday, moving from Uptown to the French Quarter. The gentleman assured me he could handle whatever I needed.Fast forward, a friend from work offers to do the move so I didn’t follow up, but AD Movers did. They called to check in and see if their services were still needed. What?! I was in total shock and so appreciative.I will definitely call them when I need movers next time.

We’ve used AD Movers twice and both were great experiences. This past weekend we used them and they turned up on time, started work and diligently completed the work. Whenever we move next time, I’ll be using them again! Thank you for the great service.

We had a wonderful experience with A D Movers! We had to move locally and packing in itself is stressful but from the moment the movers arrived they greeted us warmly and went right to work on moving our 1 bedroom apartment. We had some big items that they moved with ease and nothing was broken in the process. Carlos was wonderful and very personable and so were the other two movers (sorry I forgot your names!). They placed all the furniture exactly where we wanted and disassembled and assembled furniture seamlessly. There was a hiccup at the end with the payment but it was all resolved and Adonay was very professional. We will definitely recommend this company for our friends. Thank you!

I went with AD movers because I felt their pricing was the best. However my experience with them was unprofessional. When it came to the move I hired three movers. One mover removed the protective covering I put on my couch cushion and was letting the cushion go out on a dolly into the wet street with puddles, until I stopped him. He also was on his phone numerous times throughout the move. Or carrying the bare minimum every time I saw him. I also asked that no dollys be brought into the apt after being outside in the street, which was ignored and tracks were left on the wood in my new apt. When I called the owner to notify him of my experience, he was very dismissive and rude. Almost argumentative. It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. We were on the phone going back and forth we for over 10 minutes. After I began to unpack, I noticed scratches in my apt and more tracks from dollys they used to carry heavy items. I really feel like my items were moved with no regard for their condition. I also referred a friend to use this company before my move and they showed up hours late to their scheduled start time. I hate this experience played out this way because I really thought the move would be seamless with AD movers.
