I have had nothing but awesome experiences renting from location. I don't have the need to rent cars very often but EVERY time I rent from National at Monroe'a airport I receive excellent customer service and a fair price. My most recent rental was perfect! Leah was professional, efficient and helped us find the car we needed. I highly recommend Leah and the National Rental Car group at Monroe's airport. Thank you!

Second time renting here at monroe,LA. second time they had wrong odometer reading on vehicle and what they had on paper, i was almost charged way over the actual cost on my first rental, didn't expect the same to happen again, sounds like some scamming job from them, they also had me waiting for almost an hour to correct this matter....smh

Disappointed customer service. I would recommend a different company if coming to the airport.This site fails to meet the standards of a National Rental facility. The check in refused to provide an upgrade to a car of choice. Even though I have Executive Elite status. Don’t expect typical National service or a clean car.

Avoid any all cost! Do not depend on them for a reservation. The airport has only 5 flights arriving a day. The last flight arrives at 10:40 PM. They are supposed to close at 11:00 PM and when I got to the car rental station at 10:45 PM they were closed. This is despite me having a reservation and calling earlier in the day to confirm my arrival.No after hours support or anyone to help. I got stuck in Monroe, when I needed to drive into El Dorado, AR. Their irresponsibility and poor business practices cost me more than $200 for a local hotel and transportation.Apparently, this is a common practice for them according to both my Uber driver and the hotel staff. If you book with them, know it’s a roll of the dice as to if they will even be open.

If I could rate this location negative stars, I would. When arrived we were told our vehicle was given away despite being assured the vehicle would be held for 12 hours. We were told there were no available vehicles left to rent, despite calling customer service and them stating that our reservation was still active and that they could see the airport location had several vehicles in inventory available to rent at that exact moment. This caused us to be late for a paid event, missing out on wages as well as a non refundable room. We were told the Regional Manager would contact us to take care of the issue asap. Despite multiple calls and emails over several weeks, we did not get to speak with the manager until SEVENTEEN days later. At which time, we were told that there was nothing management could do because because the counter rep put in the system that the reason we could not get a vehicle is because we did not have a proper form of payment. We had debit, credit, bitcoin, cashapp... you name it, we could have provided it, but were never asked for any type of payment or even our name or reservation number. We were treated very rudely and then rather than apologize and take responsibility, they blatantly lied to cover up the mishandling of the situation. We still have yet to have a single person apologize or offer any sort of compensation. The absolute worst service I have ever received from any company, anywhere. Even though we are long time Enterprise members, we will NEVER rent from this company as long as the current Regional Manager is employed in this area. Do yourself a favor and rent Hertz.

Recent rental at Monroe, LA. Being Executive Elite I asked for an SUV instead of a car if they had one. Friendly lady at the counter handed me keys with a smile and noted it was an SUV. Did not ask any details just glad to have the extra room. Went to the lot to pick-up the vehicle and was I surprised. New BMW SUV. Made my day. Vehicle was so perfect I extended my rental for 30 days.

If you go to Monroe regional airport please choose another rental car company over this one, My experience was horrible. I was miss quoted on pricing, I was told I was getting a large size SUV but they gave me a small size, and to top it off the rental agent followed us outside to see who would be driving and called my mother and asked was I her boyfriend. This was the absolute worst rental car experience ever.

Airport was closed- voice mail continued to report closure but when I called and reported they said they noted it. When I took the car back there was no note made in the record and was charged the two extra days they said the drop off point was not accepting returns.

I wish I could give them less than one star. I called their reservation number and requested a full-size SUV that was supposed to be something like a Ford Expedition or Chevy Tahoe. When I showed up to the car rental desk I was told they didn't have anything that size. They offered me a Buick Enclave and admitted it would be smaller. I was told if I wanted it that the price would be the same. So they advertised one vehicle and changed it on my at the last minute at no difference in price. In case you aren't aware this is called a "Bait and switch" and is illegal. Now I have driven 31 miles and spent my own personal time to be told you don't even offer what YOUR people reserved for me. I will definitely never use them again.
