“I had a minor issue with curbside overcharging a card during an order. I spoke to the manager and the employee who assisted with my order and both were really polite and understanding. They immediately processed the refund and wrote down my information in case the refund did not go through. The refund did go through after approximately 3 business days, due to the nature of my bank. The manager even closed down her register to assist me when I came back inside to ask about the charge. Overall this Brookshires has some employees with great customer service skills, and management who are respectful as well. This will be my new Brookshires to shop at.”
“Good prices and polite employees. It's an older store, but that's OK. They keep things stocked nicely. Saving $1.00/lb on beef vs Brookshires for the same meat from the same warehouse is worth it to me. Bone in rib roast for $5.77 vs $6.99.New front end needs some work. There is not enough space in the entrance to self check out. People checking out end up blocking the entrance with their buggies.”

Update... Still one of the best run grocery stores I have been to. They keep things stocked, clean and neat.

“Fresh boiled, tasty, Good size crawfish at fair price. Don’t forget the boiled shrimp to go along with the crawfish. Randall has all types of fresh & cooked seafood along with Cajun casseroles. We grab dinner to go here all the time and never disappointed.”
“I get my cakes here all the time & they are amazing. The woman in the bakery named Jada is always so sweet. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that my needs are met. She is truly a gem to the store. The store is also always very clean and never had an issue with expired products on the shelf.”

“They have the friendliest employees, caring, helpful and sunny disposition. Helps you with groceries in self checkout and in regular line. Especially like their playlist while shopping. Would be a good one to listen to on Spotify.”
“I don't know why this store has only 3 stars! Y'all deserve 5. I love this place, It's my favorite place to shop! Never had a bad experience here at all period! Atmosphere is welcoming and professional! I went to the neighborhood this morning in this inclement weather to get a money order, the managers and associates were working hard, no bad attitudes for having to come to work! They were working effortlessly to restock and help customers! i really love this place!”

“Saw this taqueria truck passing by several times & always had a like so I figured it had to be good. I was not disappointed as I love tacos. I ordered one steak & one shrimp taco, which were about $3-4 each. They were delicious, fresh, & authentic. Took about 10 minutes to get the order ready. I went inside the latin market to pass the time. The people running the food stand were very friendly & I will definitely be going back.”

“Yesterday I went in with my kids, and I was on crutches. When I checked out, the cashier (Tamika) helped me carry my bags out to my car, due to my situation, and even helped my son open his door. I really appreciated her help. Also the store is always very nice and clean.”

“Monroe/ West Monroe seriously lacks good Asian products, but Saigon has definitely put the work in!
I've visited here quite a few times and still manage to find new things. Great selection and high quality products! Would recommend for anyone looked at trying some Asian snacks/ specialty foods!!”
