We were traveling through from Mississippi Louisiana on our way home to Texas when we had tire problems on our travel trailer. The gentleman at this Goodyear tire did not have the tires we needed but he took the time to recommend and give a telephone number of a firestone dealership that would probably have the tires which they did. It is not often that a business will take the time to recommend a competitor in an effort to provide what the customer needs. Thank you again for your help

I took my truck in because it was having problems starting and would die while I was driving down the road. The FIRST time they had my truck for 4 days and could not find an issue. I got my truck back and after ONE day had the same problems. After them keeping it for a whole week I finally told them not to work on it anymore I would come get it and take it to the dealership. All of a sudden they found a problem, then another one. They kept it for three more days and said they had all the issues straightened out. I got it back and 3 days later it broke down AGAIN. They towed it into the shop and said it needed a new fuel pump. I went to pick it up and all of a sudden my transmission is stuck in 2nd gear when it had no problems before. I went to a transmission shop and they had me back on the road the next day. NOW when I go to fuel up I have to go very slowly pumping the gas or else it automatically kicks off. NEVER EVER again, I would advise anyone needing their car fixed to avoid this place like the plague!!!

I went to them SEVERAL TIMES they worked on my car because the work was being paid for by dealership (NOT MY CHOICE).. went at least 5-6x over the same issues they even kept my car 2days once, within 2-3 days the issue was worse then before!!! New management took over & promised to fix it yet still they only made matters worse also .. (both times they worked on the same issue, and acknowledged that they heard problem sounds with rear tires yet never even looked at them!!!!!!!) WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!! You should never have the same issue over and over and over!!! No matter who runs it, it's not a good or even ok shop!

I bought four new tires here July 2018, told them to keep my front drivers side tire as my spare. I had had a flat on my front driver's side tire and bought a new tire somewhere else. When I bought the new tire after having the flat the guy told me I needed all new tires but I could not afford them at the time so I only purchased the front driver side tire. Then a couple of weeks later I went to Cartown good year to purchase the four new tires and told him to keep my front driver's tire as my spare because it was a brand new tire. I did not find out until a year later when I had another flat That I had no spare they did not put my brand new tire that I had asked them to keep as my spare in my car. I went back to car town and was told it had been a year later and even though it's specificly said on the paper work "keep drivers front tire as a spare" they would not give me another tire they would not replace the tire that they kept. He told me how did he know they didn't give me my spare tire as I'd asked. I said, So basically you are calling me a liar. I think that's poor customer service and would like to know what they did with my tire that they kept. Of course the manager also told me that that was a year ago and the people that do the work would not remember... Very convenient. If you do buy tires there make sure you have a spare before you leave

Addendum... I was furious with this company for how they handled previous visits. That said, after the response I did revisit them, and found the experience to be more on par with reasonable service... so fair is fair and props to them for addressing it.

Sloppy, unprofessional and expensive. They ordered parts from someone but don't keep records so any parts warranty is unknown. Johnson and Sons response is "order new ones" - at my expense of course and without any record keeping again.... no thanks. Moving on - I suggest you do the same.

This place is AWESOME! I got recommended to go here from another local business, and I couldn't be happier with their suggestion! Great customer from the moment I called to the time I left! I was in the process of buying a used vehicle, so I needed to get a bumper to bumper inspection. I called and they had me in and getting inspected within 30 min of me calling. While there everyone was super friendly! On the day I came, they had gotten breakfast. They shared their breakfast with me. It was nice coming into a business and being treated as family. Car Town Tires and Service is a great place to go for oil changes, bumper to bumper inspection, long line of services, filter replacements, tires, batteries, and getting a lift on your vehicle. I will definitely be back to this establishment!

This is not a Goodyear Tire Store. As an affiliate they will not honor nationally published Goodyear pricing. Do your homework and seek an actual Goodyear Auto Service Center. If you must buy in the 98272 area, you will save money by buying online at Goodyear.com and then having Johnson's install the tires as an affiliate dealer. While Wes did his best to be competitive and work with me after the fact, the accounting people at Johnson's applied a credit to a closed account and then stated it was up to me to straighten out. Hours of my time involved, poor follow through by Johnson & Sons and I can honestly say, I will never buy Goodyear Tires in the future. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I tried to support a local business. My bad.

Simple oil change done wrong. Plug not tightened and oil everywhere. Also overfilled so I guess that helped. I've read some bad reviews and I realize why. Choose another place. I wasn't even offered anything for driving back down to have it on the lift. They didn't call me back after I left a message either. Just disappointed. Whether it's $40 or $100 I'd expect good service

Figured I would give another shop a chance at putting new tires on both of my vehicles instead of just going to the normal Les Schwab. Got some quotes and they scheduled them in right away which was nice. Ended up telling me after putting tires on my pickup a list of things wrong. Got a quote of $1000 and the kid at the counter was nice and itemized them for me in order of importance. My boyfriend ended up deciding to have them do some of the work that needed to be done first that week. Dropped it off, $500 later we got the truck back. Next day driving it only to find that it has a serious vibration. Called in and they said to bring it in and they would look at it. This was on a Saturday. They called me a couple hours later and told me that my truck died on the test drive and they had to have it towed back and wouldnt be able to get to it until Monday. My truck never had issues with dying. Went over and got some stuff for work out of it and started it up. Sure enough it was backfiring, sputtering and dying. Monday comes around and I called in three times to see if the truck was ready for pickup. They informed me some sensors came loose and they were able to fix but that my truck wasnt ready to be picked up. They stated they wanted the original mechanic to look at it on Tuesday when he got in. On Tuesday the original mechanic Wes calls and stats a whole new list of things that he says we should fix. Just nickle and diming me because they dont think I know what im talking about. Spent almost 2 grand there in a week only to have more issues, btw my truck had no issues driving or running prior to taking it to them. Stear clear

This place is a really honest and good place. They charge fair money for the work that they do and they always treat every customer like they are the only customer they have. Everyone that works here smiles, is very helpful and genuinely cares about the work being done to the vehicle. I would recommend this place to anyone, although they stay so busy I'm sure they don't need anymore recommendations :)
